Jeremiah 10:6, word by word

YHWHיְהוָהyehva

YHWH

The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

The context

5Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field they are, and they do not speak; they must be carried, for they do not walk. Do not fear them, for they do not do harm, and also to do good is not in them.”

6 · This verse (above)

7Who will not fear you, King of the nations? For to you it is fitting; for among all the wise of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.
