And from Tibhathוּמִטִּבְחַתand from Cun,וּמִכּוּןcitiesעָרֵיof Hadadezer,הֲדַדְעֶזֶרDavidדָּוִידtookלָקַחa greatרַבָּהdealמְאֹדof bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתwith itבָּהּSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהmadeעָשָׂהthe seaיָםof bronzeהַנְּחֹשֶׁתand the pillarsוְ הָעַמּוּדִיםand the articlesוְ כְּלֵיof bronze.הַנְּחֹשֶׁת
When Touוַ תֹּעוּkingמֶלֶךְof HamathחֲמָתheardיִּשְׁמַעthatכִּיDavidדָוִידhad struckהִכָּהallכָּלthe forceחֵילof Hadadezerהֲדַדְעֶזֶרkingמֶלֶךְof Zobah,צוֹבָה
he sentוַיִּשְׁלַחHadoramהֲדוֹרָםhis sonבְּנוֹtoאֶלKingהַמֶּלֶךְDavidדָּוִידto askלִשְׁאָלhimלוֹabout his welfareלְשָׁלוֹםand to bless him,וּלְבָרֲכוֹbecauseעַל אֲשֶׁרhe had foughtנִלְחַםagainst Hadadezerבַּהֲדַדְעֶזֶרand struck him;וַיַּכֵּהוּforכִּיHadadezerהֲדַדְעָזֶרhad beenהָיָהa manאִישׁof warsמִלְחֲמוֹתwith Tou.תֹּעוּAnd he brought all kinds ofוְכֹלarticlesכְּלֵיof goldזָהָבand silverוָכֶסֶףand bronze.וּנְחֹשֶׁת
TheseאֹתָםalsoגַּםKingהַמֶּלֶךְDavidדָּוִידconsecratedהִקְדִּישׁto YHWH,לַיהוָהwithעִםthe silverהַכֶּסֶףand the goldוְהַזָּהָבthatאֲשֶׁרhe had carried offנָשָׂאfrom allמִכָּלthe nations:הַגּוֹיִםfrom Edom,מֵאֱדוֹםand from Moab,וּמִמּוֹאָבand from the sonsוּמִבְּנֵיof Ammon,עַמּוֹןand from the Philistines,וּמִפְּלִשְׁתִּיםand from Amalek.וּמֵעֲמָלֵק
And Abishaiוְאַבְשַׁיsonבֶּןof ZeruiahצְרוּיָהstruckהִכָּהEdomאֱדוֹםin the Valleyבְּגֵיאof Salt:הַמֶּלַחeighteenשְׁמוֹנָה עָשָׂרthousand.אָלֶף
He putוַיָּשֶׂםgarrisonsנְצִיבִיםin Edom,בֶּאֱדוֹםand allוַ כָלEdomאֱדוֹםbecameיִּהְיוּservantsעֲבָדִיםto David.לְדָוִידAnd YHWHוַ יְהוָהsavedיּוֹשַׁעDavidדָּוִידwhereverבְּכֹל אֲשֶׁרhe went.הָלָךְ
