He didוַיַּעַשׂwhat was rightהַיָּשָׁרin the eyesבְּעֵינֵיof YHWH,יְהוָהaccording to allכְּכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרUzziahעֻזִּיָּהוּhis fatherאָבִיוhad done;עָשָׂהonlyרַקhe did notלֹאenterבָאintoאֶלthe templeהֵיכַלof YHWH.יְהוָהBut the peopleוְ הָעָםwere stillעוֹדacting corruptly.מַשְׁחִיתִים
Heהוּאbuiltבָּנָהthe upperאֶת הָעֶלְיוֹןgateשַׁעַרof the houseבֵּיתof YHWH,יְהוָהand on the wallוּבְחוֹמַתof the Ophelהָעֹפֶלhe builtבָּנָהmuch.לָרֹב
He builtבָּנָהcitiesוְעָרִיםin the hill countryבְּהַרof Judah,יְהוּדָהand in the forestsוּבֶחֳרָשִׁיםhe builtבָּנָהfortressesבִּירָנִיּוֹתand towers.וּמִגְדָּלִים
Heוְהוּאfoughtנִלְחַםwith the kingעִם מֶלֶךְof the sonsבְּנֵיof Ammonעַמּוֹןand prevailedוַיֶּחֱזַקagainst them,עֲלֵיהֶםand the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Ammonעַמּוֹןgaveיִּתְּנוּhimלוֹin that yearבַּשָּׁנָה הַהִיאa hundredמֵאָהtalentsכִּכַּרof silver,כֶּסֶףand tenוַעֲשֶׂרֶתthousandאֲלָפִיםcorsכֹּרִיםof wheatחִטִּיםand of barleyוּשְׂעוֹרִיםtenעֲשֶׂרֶתthousand.אֲלָפִיםThisזֹאתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Ammonעַמּוֹןpaidהֵשִׁיבוּhimלוֹalso in the second yearוּבַשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִיתand the third.וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית
