Jeremiah 52:1-27
1Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 2He did what was evil in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. 3For through the anger of YHWH it came to pass in Jerusalem and in Judah, until he cast them from before his face. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. 4And it happened, in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his force, against Jerusalem; they encamped against it, and they built against it a siege wall all around. 5The city came under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. 6In the fourth month, on the ninth of the month, the famine grew severe in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land. 7The city was breached, and all the men of war fled and went out of the city by night by way of the gate between the two walls that is by the garden of the king, while the Chaldeans were against the city all around; and they went by way of the Arabah. 8The force of the Chaldeans pursued after the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his force was scattered from around him. 9They seized the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he pronounced judgments against him. 10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; and also all the princes of Judah he slaughtered at Riblah. 11And the eyes of Zedekiah he blinded, and bound him in bronze chains; and the king of Babylon brought him to Babylon, and put him in the house of custody until the day of his death. 12In the fifth month, on the tenth of the month —that was year nineteen of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the chief of the guard, came —he stood before the king of Babylon— into Jerusalem. 13He burned the house of YHWH and the house of the king and all the houses of Jerusalem; and every great house he burned with fire. 14And all the walls around Jerusalem all the force of the Chaldeans that was with the chief of the guard tore down. 15And of the poorest of the people, and the rest of the people who were left in the city, and the deserters who had gone over to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude, Nebuzaradan the chief of the guard carried into exile. 16But of the poorest of the land Nebuzaradan the chief of the guard left some as vinedressers and farmers. 17The pillars of bronze that were for the house of YHWH, and the stands, and the bronze Sea that was in the house of YHWH, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and they carried all their bronze to Babylon. 18The pots, the shovels, the tongs, the bowls, the spoons, and all the utensils of bronze with which they ministered, they took. 19The cups, the firepans, the bowls, the pots, the lampstands, the spoons, and the libation bowls, what was gold, in gold, and what was silver, in silver, the chief of the guard took. 20The two pillars, the one Sea, and the twelve bronze oxen that were under the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of YHWH: there was no weight for their bronze, of all these utensils. 21As for the pillars, eighteen cubits was the height of the one pillar, and a thread of twelve cubits went around it, and its thickness was four fingers; it was hollow. 22And a capital of bronze was on it, and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with a network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze; and like these was the second pillar, with pomegranates. 23And there were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were a hundred on the network all around. 24The chief of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest and the three keepers of the threshold;

The name of his mother was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 24:19He did what was evil in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. 24:20For through the anger of YHWH it came to pass in Jerusalem and in Judah, until he cast them from before his face. So Judah went into exile from its land.
11Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. 12He did what was evil in the eyes of YHWH his Elohim; he did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke from the mouth of YHWH. 13He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by Elohim; and he stiffened his neck and made firm his heart against returning to YHWH, the Elohim of Israel. 14Also all the officials of the priests and the people multiplied acts of unfaithfulness according to all the abominations of the nations, and they made unclean the house of YHWH that he had sanctified in Jerusalem. 15YHWH, the Elohim of their fathers, sent word to them through his messengers, sending them again and again, for he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling. 16But they kept mocking the messengers of Elohim, and despising his words, and scoffing at his prophets, until the fury of YHWH rose against his people, until there was no remedy. 17He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or the very old; he gave them all into his hand. 18And all the utensils of the house of Elohim, great and small, and the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the king and of his officials, all this he brought to Babylon. 19They burned the house of Elohim and tore down the wall of Jerusalem; and all its palaces they burned with fire, and all its precious objects they destroyed. 20He carried into exile the remnant left from the sword to Babylon, and they became slaves to him and to his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to reign; 21to fulfill the word of YHWH by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths; all the days of its desolation it ceased, to fulfill seventy years.
