Acts 4:27–28

The believers pray: Herod and Pilate did what God's hand had determined

In its context

25who through the Holy Spirit, by the mouth of our father David, your servant, said, ‘Why did the nations rage, and the peoples plot vain things?

26The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against his Anointed.’

…

29And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to your slaves to speak your word with all boldness,

30while you stretch out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may take place through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
