ifεἰweἡμεῖςare being examinedἀνακρινόμεθαtodayσήμερονconcerningἐπὶa good deedεὐεργεσίᾳdone to a sickἀσθενοῦςman,ἀνθρώπουas to byἐνwhat meansτίνιthis manοὗτοςhas been healed,σέσωσται
let it beἔστωknownγνωστὸνto allπᾶσινof youὑμῖνandκαὶto allπαντὶthe peopleτῷ λαῷof IsraelἸσραὴλthatὅτιinἐνthe nameτῷ ὀνόματιof JesusἸησοῦthe MessiahΧριστοῦthe Nazarene,τοῦ Ναζωραίουwhomὃνyouὑμεῖςcrucified,ἐσταυρώσατεwhomὃνGodὁ θεὸςraisedἤγειρενfromἐκthe dead,νεκρῶνbyἐνhimτούτῳthis manοὗτοςstandsπαρέστηκενbeforeἐνώπιονyouὑμῶνwell.ὑγιής

Andτεseeingβλέποντεςthe manτόν ἄνθρωπονwho had been healedτὸν τεθεραπευμένονstandingἑστῶταwithσὺνthem,αὐτοῖςthey hadεἶχονnothingοὐδὲνto say against it.ἀντειπεῖν
Butδὲafter orderingκελεύσαντεςthemαὐτοὺςto goἀπελθεῖνoutsideἔξωthe council,τοῦ συνεδρίουthey conferredσυνέβαλλονwithπρὸςone another,ἀλλήλους
saying,λέγοντες“WhatΤίshall we doποιήσωμενwith theseτοῖς τούτοιςmen?ἀνθρώποιςForγὰρthatὅτιa notableγνωστὸνsignσημεῖονhas occurredγέγονενthroughδι’themαὐτῶνis evidentφανερόνto allπᾶσινwho live inτοῖς κατοικοῦσινJerusalem,Ἰερουσαλὴμandκαὶwe cannotοὐ δυνάμεθαdeny it.ἀρνεῖσθαι
Butἀλλ’so thatἵναit may notμὴspreadδιανεμηθῇfurtherἐπὶ πλεῖονamongεἰςthe people,τὸν λαόνlet us warnἀπειλησώμεθαthemαὐτοῖςno longerμηκέτιto speakλαλεῖνinἐπὶthisτούτῳnameτῷ ὀνόματιto anyμηδενὶperson.”ἀνθρώπων

ButδὲPeterὁ ΠέτροςandκαὶJohnἸωάννηςansweredἀποκριθέντεςand saidεἶπονtoπρὸςthem,αὐτούς“WhetherΕἰit isἐστινrightδίκαιόνin the sightἐνώπιονof Godτοῦ θεοῦto listenἀκούεινto youὑμῶνratherμᾶλλονthanἢto God,τοῦ θεοῦyou judge;κρίνατε
forγὰρweἡμεῖςcannotοὐ δυνάμεθαstopμὴspeaking aboutλαλεῖνwhatἃwe have seenεἴδαμενandκαὶheard.”ἠκούσαμεν
Andδὲthey,οἱafter threatening them further,προσαπειλησάμενοιreleasedἀπέλυσανthem,αὐτούςfindingεὑρίσκοντεςnothingμηδὲνas to howτὸ πῶςthey might punishκολάσωνταιthem,αὐτούςbecause ofδιὰthe people,τὸν λαόνforὅτιallπάντεςwere glorifyingἐδόξαζονGodτὸν θεὸνforἐπὶwhat had happened.τῷ γεγονότι
Forγὰρthe manὁ ἄνθρωποςonἐφ’whomὃνthisτοῦτοsignτὸ σημεῖονof healingτῆς ἰάσεωςhad been doneγεγόνειwasἦνmore thanπλειόνωνfortyτεσσεράκονταyears old.ἐτῶν
Andδὲwhen they were released,Ἀπολυθέντεςthey wentἦλθονtoπρὸςtheir own peopleτοὺς ἰδίουςandκαὶreportedἀπήγγειλανall thatὅσαthe high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe eldersοἱ πρεσβύτεροιhad saidεἶπανtoπρὸςthem.αὐτοὺς

The kingsοἱ βασιλεῖςof the earthτῆς γῆςtook their stand,παρέστησανandκαὶthe rulersοἱ ἄρχοντεςwere gatheredσυνήχθησανtogetherἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸagainstκατὰthe Lordτοῦ κυρίουandκαὶagainstκατὰhisαὐτοῦAnointed.’τοῦ χριστοῦ

to doποιῆσαιwhateverὅσαyourσουhandἡ χείρandκαὶyour planἡ βουλὴhad determined beforehandπροώρισενto take place.γενέσθαι
Andκαὶnow,τὰ νῦνLord,κύριεlookἔπιδεuponἐπὶtheirαὐτῶνthreats,τὰς ἀπειλὰςandκαὶgrantδὸςto yourτοῖς σουslavesδούλοιςto speakλαλεῖνyourσουwordτὸν λόγονwithμετὰallπάσηςboldness,παρρησίας
whileἐν τῷyouσεstretch outἐκτείνεινyourσουhandτὴν χεῖράtoεἰςheal,ἴασινandκαὶthat signsσημεῖαandκαὶwondersτέραταmay take placeγίνεσθαιthroughδιὰthe nameτοῦ ὀνόματοςof yourτοῦ σουholyἁγίουservantπαιδόςJesus.”Ἰησοῦ

Forγὰρthere wasἦνnotοὐδὲa needyἐνδεήςpersonτιςamongἐνthem,αὐτοῖςforγὰρas many asὅσοιwereὑπῆρχονownersκτήτορεςof landsχωρίωνorἢhousesοἰκιῶνwere selling themπωλοῦντεςand bringingἔφερονthe proceedsτὰς τιμὰςof what was soldτῶν πιπρασκομένων
andκαὶlaying themἐτίθουνatπαρὰthe feetτοὺς πόδαςof the apostles,τῶν ἀποστόλωνandδὲit was distributedδιεδίδετοto eachἑκάστῳasκαθότι ἄνanyoneτιςhadεἶχενneed.χρείαν
AndδὲJoseph,Ἰωσὴφwho was calledὁ ἐπικληθεὶςBarnabasΒαρναβᾶςbyἀπὸthe apostlesτῶν ἀποστόλων(whichὅis,ἐστινtranslated,μεθερμηνευόμενονSonυἱὸςof Comfort),παρακλήσεωςa Levite,Λευίτηςa CypriotΚύπριοςby birth,τῷ γένει
