ButδὲPeterὁ Πέτροςsaid,εἶπεν“Ananias,Ἁνανίαwhyδιὰ τίhas Satanὁ Σατανᾶςfilledἐπλήρωσενyourσουheartτὴν καρδίανso that youσεlied toψεύσασθαίthe Holy Spiritτὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιονandκαὶkept back partνοσφίσασθαιofἀπὸthe priceτῆς τιμῆςof the land?τοῦ χωρίου
While it remained unsold,μένονdid it notοὐχὶremainἔμενενyours?σοὶAndκαὶafter it was sold,πραθὲνwas itὑπῆρχενnot underἐνyourτῇ σῇauthority?ἐξουσίᾳWhyτί ὅτιdid you putἔθουthisτοῦτοdeedτὸ πρᾶγμαinἐνyourσουheart?τῇ καρδίᾳYou did notοὐκlieἐψεύσωto peopleἀνθρώποιςbutἀλλὰto God.”τῷ θεῷ

Andδὲafter an intervalἘγένετο διάστημαof aboutὡςthreeτριῶνhours,ὡρῶνhisαὐτοῦwifeἡ γυνὴcame in,εἰσῆλθενnotμὴknowingεἰδυῖαwhat had happened.τὸ γεγονὸς
AndδὲPeterΠέτροςrespondedἀπεκρίθηtoπρὸςher,αὐτὴν“TellΕἰπέme,μοιdid you sellεἰ ἀπέδοσθεthe landτὸ χωρίονfor so much?”τοσούτουAndδὲsheἡsaid,εἶπεν“Yes,Ναίfor so much.”τοσούτου
AndδὲPeterὁ Πέτροςsaid toπρὸςher,αὐτήν“WhyΤί ὅτιwas it agreedσυνεφωνήθηbetween youὑμῖνto testπειράσαιthe Spiritτὸ πνεῦμαof the Lord?κυρίουLook,ἰδοὺthe feetοἱ πόδεςof those who have buriedτῶν θαψάντωνyourσουhusbandτὸν ἄνδραare atἐπὶthe door,τῇ θύρᾳandκαὶthey will carryἐξοίσουσίνyouσεout.”ἐξοίσουσίν

so thatὥστεthey evenκαὶcarried outἐκφέρεινthe sickτοὺς ἀσθενεῖςintoεἰςthe streetsτὰς πλατείαςandκαὶlaid themτιθέναιonἐπὶcotsκλιναρίωνandκαὶmats,κραβάττωνso thatἵναwhen PeterΠέτρουcame by,ἐρχομένουat leastκἂνhis shadowἡ σκιὰmight fall onἐπισκιάσῃsomeτινὶof them.αὐτῶν
Andδὲthe multitudeτὸ πλῆθοςfrom the citiesτῶν πόλεωνaroundπέριξJerusalemἸερουσαλήμalsoκαὶwere coming together,συνήρχετοbringingφέροντεςthe sickἀσθενεῖςandκαὶthose tormentedὀχλουμένουςbyὑπὸuncleanἀκαθάρτωνspirits,πνευμάτωνwhoοἵτινεςallἅπαντεςwere being healed.ἐθεραπεύοντο
Butδὲthe high priestὁ ἀρχιερεὺςandκαὶallπάντεςwho wereοἱwithσὺνhim,αὐτῷwhich wasἡ οὖσαthe partyαἵρεσιςof the Sadducees,τῶν Σαδδουκαίωνrose upἈναστὰςand were filledἐπλήσθησανwith jealousy,ζήλου
andκαὶthey laidἐπέβαλονhandsτὰς χεῖραςonἐπὶthe apostlesτοὺς ἀποστόλουςandκαὶputἔθεντοthemαὐτοὺςinἐνpublicδημοσίᾳcustody.τηρήσει
Butδὲduringδιὰthe nightνυκτὸςan angelἄγγελοςof the Lordκυρίουopenedἤνοιξεthe doorsτὰς θύραςof the prisonτῆς φυλακῆςand,τεbringing them out,ἐξαγαγών αὐτοὺςhe said,εἶπεν
“Go,Πορεύεσθεandκαὶstandingσταθέντεςinἐνthe temple,τῷ ἱερῷspeakλαλεῖτεto the peopleτῷ λαῷallπάνταthe wordsτὰ ῥήματαof thisτῆς ταύτηςlife.”ζωῆς
Andδὲhaving heard this,ἀκούσαντεςthey enteredεἰσῆλθονintoεἰςthe templeτὸ ἱερὸνatὑπὸdaybreakτὸν ὄρθρονandκαὶbegan teaching.ἐδίδασκονNowδὲwhen the high priestὁ ἀρχιερεὺςandκαὶthoseοἱwithσὺνhimαὐτῷarrived,Παραγενόμενοςthey called togetherσυνεκάλεσανthe councilτὸ συνέδριονandκαὶallπᾶσανthe council of eldersτὴν γερουσίανof the sonsτῶν υἱῶνof Israel,Ἰσραήλandκαὶsentἀπέστειλανtoεἰςthe prisonτὸ δεσμωτήριονfor themαὐτούςto be brought.ἀχθῆναι
Butδὲthe officersοἱ ὑπηρέταιwho cameπαραγενόμενοιdid notοὐχfindεὗρονthemαὐτοὺςinἐνthe prison,τῇ φυλακῇandδὲthey returnedἀναστρέψαντεςand reported,ἀπήγγειλαν
saying,λέγοντες“We foundεὕρομενthe prisonΤὸ δεσμωτήριονlockedκεκλεισμένονwithἐνallπάσῃsecurityἀσφαλείᾳandκαὶthe guardsτοὺς φύλακαςstandingἑστῶταςatἐπὶthe doors,τῶν θυρῶνbutδὲwhen we opened them,ἀνοίξαντεςwe foundεὕρομενno oneοὐδέναinside.”ἔσω
Andδὲwhenὡςbothτεthe captainὅ στρατηγὸςof the templeτοῦ ἱεροῦandκαὶthe high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςheardἤκουσανtheseτούτουςwords,τοὺς λόγουςthey were perplexedδιηπόρουνaboutπερὶthem,αὐτῶνwondering whatτίthisτοῦτοwould come to.ἂν γένοιτο
Butδέsomeoneτιςcameπαραγενόμενοςand reportedἀπήγγειλενto them,αὐτοῖς“Look,Ἰδοὺthe menοἱ ἄνδρεςwhomοὓςyou putἔθεσθεinἐνthe prisonτῇ φυλακῇareεἰσὶνinἐνthe temple,τῷ ἱερῷstandingἑστῶτεςandκαὶteachingδιδάσκοντεςthe people.”τὸν λαόν
Thenτότεthe captainὁ στρατηγὸςwentἀπελθὼνwithσὺνthe officersτοῖς ὑπηρέταιςand broughtἤγαγενthem,αὐτούςnotοὐwithμετὰforce,βίαςforγὰρthey were afraid ofἐφοβοῦντοthe people,τὸν λαόνthatμὴthey might be stoned.λιθασθῶσιν
Andδὲhaving broughtἈγαγόντεςthem,αὐτοὺςthey set themἔστησανbeforeἐνthe council.τῷ συνεδρίῳAndκαὶthe high priestὁ ἀρχιερεὺςquestionedἐπηρώτησενthem,αὐτοὺς
saying,λέγων“We strictlyΠαραγγελίᾳorderedπαρηγγείλαμενyouὑμῖνnotμὴto teachδιδάσκεινinἐπὶthisτούτῳname,τῷ ὀνόματιandκαὶlook,ἰδοὺyou have filledπεπληρώκατεJerusalemτὴν Ἰερουσαλὴμwith yourτῆς ὑμῶνteaching,διδαχῆςandκαὶyou intendβούλεσθεto bringἐπαγαγεῖνuponἐφ’usἡμᾶςthe bloodτὸ αἷμαof thisτοῦ τούτουman.”ἀνθρώπου
ButδὲPeterΠέτροςandκαὶthe apostlesοἱ ἀπόστολοιansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπαν“We mustδεῖobeyΠειθαρχεῖνGodθεῷratherμᾶλλονthanἢpeople.ἀνθρώποις

HimτοῦτονGodὁ θεὸςexaltedὕψωσενtoτῇhisαὐτοῦright handδεξιᾷas LeaderἀρχηγὸνandκαὶSavior,σωτῆραto giveτοῦ δοῦναιIsraelτῷ Ἰσραὴλa change of mindμετάνοιανandκαὶforgivenessἄφεσινof sins.ἁμαρτιῶν
Andκαὶweἡμεῖςareἐσμενwitnessesμάρτυρεςof theseτῶν τούτωνthings,ῥημάτωνand so isκαὶthe Holy Spiritτὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιονwhomὃGodὁ θεὸςhas givenἔδωκενto those who obeyτοῖς πειθαρχοῦσινhim.”αὐτῷ
