Romans 13:13–14
Walk decently and put on the Lord Jesus the Messiah
Study it word by word13As in the day, let us walk decently, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in sexual excess and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.
14But put on the Lord Jesus the Messiah, and do not make provision for the flesh for its desires.
In its context
11And do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to rise from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we came to believe.
12The night is far gone, and the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
