Romans 8:24–25
Paul says we hope for what we do not see, and wait for it with perseverance
Study it word by word24For in hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he sees?
25But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with perseverance.
In its context
22For we know that the whole creation groans together and suffers birth pains together until now;
23and not only that, but also we ourselves, having the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly awaiting adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.
…
26And likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered.
27And he who searches the hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he intercedes for the saints according to God.
