Song of Songs 2:10–13
He calls to her: winter is past, spring has come
Study it word by word10My beloved answered and said to me, “Arise, my companion, my beautiful one, and come away;
11for look, the winter has passed; the rain is over, it has gone away.
12The blossoms appear in the land; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13The fig tree has ripened its early figs, and the vines in blossom give fragrance. Arise, my companion, my beautiful one, and come away.”
In its context
8The voice of my beloved! Look, here he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.
9My beloved is like a gazelle or a fawn. Look, there he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattices.
…
14My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding place of the steep slope, let me see your form, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your form lovely.
15Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin vineyards, and our vineyards are in blossom.
