You have saidאָמַרְתְּto YHWH,לַיהוָה“Youאָתָּהare Adonai;אֲדֹנָיmy goodטוֹבָתִיis notבַּלapart from you.”עָלֶיךָ
As for the holy onesלִקְדוֹשִׁיםwhoאֲשֶׁרare in the land,בָּאָרֶץtheyהֵמָּהand the nobles,וְאַדִּירֵיallכָּלmy pleasureחֶפְצִיis in them.בָם
The sorrowsעַצְּבוֹתָםof those who hurryמָהָרוּafter another godאַחֵרwill multiply.יִרְבּוּI will notבַּלpour outאַסִּיךְtheir libationsנִסְכֵּיהֶםof blood,מִדָּםnorוּבַלliftאֶשָּׂאtheir namesאֶת שְׁמוֹתָםon my lips.עַל שְׂפָתָי
YHWHיְהוָהis the portionמְנָתof my shareחֶלְקִיand of my cup;וְכוֹסִיyouאַתָּהupholdתּוֹמִיךְmy lot.גּוֹרָלִי
The cordsחֲבָלִיםhave fallenנָפְלוּfor meלִיin pleasant places;בַּנְּעִמִיםyes,אַףthe inheritanceנַחֲלָתis beautifulשָׁפְרָהto me.עָלָי
I will blessאֲבָרֵךְYHWHאֶת יְהוָהwhoאֲשֶׁרcounsels me;יְעָצָנִיevenאַףat nightלֵילוֹתmy kidneysכִלְיוֹתָיcorrect me.יִסְּרוּנִי
I have setשִׁוִּיתִיYHWHיְהוָהbefore meלְנֶגְדִּיalways;תָמִידbecauseכִּיhe is at my right hand,מִימִינִיI will notבַּלbe moved.אֶמּוֹט
Thereforeלָכֵןmy heartלִבִּיwas gladשָׂמַחandוַmy gloryכְּבוֹדִיwas jubilant;יָּגֶלalsoאַףmy fleshבְּשָׂרִיwill dwellיִשְׁכֹּןsecure.לָבֶטַח
Forכִּיyou will notלֹאabandonתַעֲזֹבmy soulנַפְשִׁיto Sheol;לִשְׁאוֹלyou will notלֹאletתִתֵּןyour faithful oneחֲסִידְךָseeלִרְאוֹתthe pit.שָׁחַת
You will make known to meתּוֹדִיעֵנִיthe pathאֹרַחof life;חַיִּיםfullnessשֹׂבַעof joysשְׂמָחוֹתwith your face;אֶת פָּנֶיךָdelightsנְעִמוֹתat your right handבִּימִינְךָforever.נֶצַח
