Terms of service

Last updated: September 15, 2026

This is a translation for convenience; the Spanish version is the one that applies.Draft for legal review. This text sets out the contractual rules for using the service. It is not personalized legal advice and does not replace a lawyer's opinion. By signing up, checking the acceptance box during onboarding or continuing to use Crece Conmigo, you accept these terms, the Privacy policy and the Community rules.

1. Acceptance and operator

These Terms govern how you access and use Crece Conmigo (crececonmigo.app), which includes the web app/PWA, its APIs and the content it runs on (hereinafter, the “Service”).

The Service is operated from the Republic of Colombia (the “Operator”). Contact: [email protected]. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Crece Conmigo is a digital platform for adults to get to know each other with purpose (friendship, dating or a path toward marriage), with an emphasis on voice notes, shared readings and, as far as possible, one conversation at a time. Its features include Muro, Lectura, Directo (presence on the map), Contigo, reading paths (“Crece”), hearts and private audio messages (“Crece conmigo”), profile and notifications.

The Service is free in its current version, although the Operator may later change its scope, usage limits or terms of access (giving notice as set out in the section on changes).

We do not guarantee personal results (friendship, dating, marriage or otherwise). The Service is a technology tool; interactions between users are the responsibility of those who take part in them.

3. Age, territory and eligibility

  • Only people over 18 years of age. By signing up you declare, under your sole responsibility, that you meet this requirement.
  • You may use the Service from any country; the relationship is governed by Colombian law (section 14).
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts, and neither the law nor a prior suspension by the Operator may prevent you from using the Service.

We may request additional verification, and suspend or delete accounts, if there is reasonable doubt about age, identity or misuse.

4. Account, authentication and security

You normally sign in with your Google account (OAuth). You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of the information you put in your profile;
  • looking after your account and your devices;
  • all activity carried out from your session, except for demonstrable fraud by third parties not attributable to you.

Notify [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. The Operator may invalidate sessions for security reasons.

5. Profile, gender and discovery

Some features (e.g. the Muro) apply an opposite-gender filter based on the declared gender. Age, city or other criteria may be used as ordering priorities and not necessarily as absolute blocks. Declaring false information (including age or gender) is a breach.

6. Conduct and Community rules

You must comply with the Community rules, which are an integral part of these Terms by reference. In particular, the following are prohibited, without limitation: harassment; non-permitted explicit sexual content; fraud; identity theft; spam; automated data extraction (scraping) and bots; asking strangers for money or sending it to them; and any conduct that is unlawful under Colombian law.

The Operator may moderate, hide or remove content, limit features (e.g. Directo) and suspend or terminate accounts, with or without prior notice depending on the severity and the risk to third parties.

7. User content

7.1. Ownership

You keep whatever rights you hold over the photos, audio (capsule, Crece conmigo, Directo, Contigo, Camino, Muro), texts and other materials you upload or create (“User Content”), without prejudice to the rights of third parties and the licenses you grant here.

7.2. License to the Operator

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license, transferable to data processors, for as long as necessary to: (a) host, transmit, store, reproduce and display User Content in the Service among the people authorized by the app's logic; (b) moderate, prevent abuse, investigate reports and comply with the law; and (c) analyze, keep and use that content and associated information to improve, secure, operate and develop the application (quality, security, product and operations), even when a conversation is no longer shown on your screen.

7.3. Responsibility for content

You alone are responsible to third parties for your User Content. You warrant that you have sufficient rights to grant the license above and that the content does not violate the law or the rights of third parties. Do not use the Service to record or spread unlawful material.

7.4. Deletion

You can delete certain content from the app when the feature allows it, and delete your account yourself under Me → Privacy and help → “Delete my account” (or ask us by writing to [email protected]). Deletion of copies in backups, caches, logs or security systems may not be immediate. See the Privacy policy.

8. Operator content and trademarks

The Operator's software, design, institutional texts, trademarks and materials are protected. You may not copy, modify, decompile (except as permitted by mandatory law), resell or exploit the Service without written authorization. See also Copyright.

9. Meetups and activities outside the app

Any in-person plan, meetup or activity announced or facilitated for information purposes is not an organized date or an event under the Operator's custody. Each participant decides whether to attend, travels on their own and bears their own costs and risks. The Operator does not guarantee users' offline identity or the safety of physical places.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, interrupt or discontinue features (in whole or in part) for maintenance, security, capacity, product evolution or force majeure, without this giving rise to a right to compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

11. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by Colombian law, the Operator does not guarantee: (i) uninterrupted or error-free availability; (ii) compatibility with all devices or browsers; (iii) that interactions between users will be safe, truthful or successful; (iv) specific personal, romantic or spiritual results. You use the Service at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Colombian law, the Operator, developers, contributors and providers will not be liable for: indirect, incidental or consequential damages; lost profits; alleged non-pecuniary (moral) damage from interactions between users; loss of data not attributable to the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence; acts, omissions or content of third parties (including other users); or meetings outside the app.

In any case, the Operator's aggregate liability to you for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid the Operator in the twelve (12) months before the event (zero pesos, if the Service is free), unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise (e.g. willful misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not allow liability to be limited).

13. Indemnity

You agree to hold harmless the Operator and those who develop or maintain the Service against claims, damages, fines and reasonable defense costs arising from: (a) your User Content; (b) your conduct; (c) breach of these Terms, the Rules or the law; or (d) infringement of the rights of third parties.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise, any dispute will be submitted to the judges of the city of Bogotá D.C., without prejudice to consumer rights that cannot be waived.

15. Assignment, severability and entire agreement

  • You may not assign these rights without the Operator's consent. The Operator may assign the contract in the event of a reorganization or transfer of the Service, giving notice where appropriate.
  • If any clause is invalid, the rest remains in force.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy policy and the Community rules, constitute the entire agreement regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior understandings on the same subject.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date appears above. When the change is material, we will seek to give reasonable notice in the Service or by the email associated with the account. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you are deemed to accept it, unless the law requires specific consent.
