What it means

chanun (חָנוּן) is a Hebrew word of the Bible that means “Hanun”.

The name of several men. The best known is the king of the Ammonites who humiliated David's envoys (2 Samuel 10); two others helped rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (Nehemiah 3:13, 30). It means "favored".
