YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

Translation note
This refers to the death of Uzzah (13:9-11): the first time the ark went on a cart, not on the shoulders of the Levites. “We did not consult him” may refer to YHWH or to the ark (“we did not consult it”).
The context
12and he said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, you and your brothers, and bring up the ark of YHWH, the Elohim of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.
13 · This verse (above)
14So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of YHWH, the Elohim of Israel.
