YHWH

The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

The context

6And I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; and I will build them and not tear them down; and I will plant them and not uproot them.

7 · This verse (above)

8And like the figs that are bad, which cannot be eaten for badness —for thus says YHWH— so will I give up Zedekiah king of Judah, and his princes, and the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who live in the land of Egypt.
