Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

The context
13know for certain that YHWH your Elohim will not continue to dispossess these nations before you; and they shall be for you a snare and a trap, a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land that YHWH your Elohim has given you.
14 · This verse (above)
15And it shall be that just as all the good word that YHWH your Elohim spoke to you has come upon you, so YHWH will bring upon you all the evil word, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that YHWH your Elohim has given you.
