2 Corinthians 9:6–8
Each gives as decided in the heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion
Study it word by word6And remember this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows with blessings will also reap with blessings.
7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not out of grief or out of compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8And God is able to make all grace abound for you, so that in everything, always having all sufficiency, you may abound in every good work.

5So I considered it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance your previously promised blessing, so that this may be ready in this way: as a blessing and not as greed.
…
9As it is written, “He scattered, he gave to the poor; his righteousness remains forever.”
10Now the one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and will increase the harvest of your righteousness;
