Acts 1:9–11

After he goes up to heaven, two men in white say he will come back the same way

9And having said these things, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

10And as they were gazing into heaven while he was going, look, two men stood by them in white clothing,

11who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in this way, just as you saw him going into heaven.”

7He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has set by his own authority;

8but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

…

12Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

13And when they had entered, they went up to the upper room where they were staying: Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James.
