Acts 3:19–21
Peter: heaven must receive Jesus until the times of the restoration of all things
Study it word by word19So change your minds and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,
20so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and he may send the Messiah appointed for you, Jesus,
21whom heaven must receive until the times of the restoration of all things, of which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from long ago.
In its context
17And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers also did.
18But God fulfilled in this way what he announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Messiah would suffer.
…
22Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers; you will listen to him in everything that he says to you.
23And it will be that every person who does not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
