Colossians 3:15–17
Paul asks that the Messiah's peace rule and that we be thankful
Study it word by word15And let the peace of the Messiah rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body; and be thankful.
16Let the word of the Messiah dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.
17And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
In its context
13bearing with one another and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord also forgave you, so also you must forgive.
14And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of completeness.
…

19Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
