Galatians 5:22–23
Patience appears among the fruit of the Spirit
Study it word by word22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
In its context
20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of rage, rivalries, divisions, factions,
21envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these, about which I tell you beforehand, as I told you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
…
24And those of the Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
