Hebrews 13:15–16
Offering praise, and also doing good and sharing: sacrifices that please God
Study it word by word15Through him, then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.
16And do not forget doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
In its context
13So let us go out to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
14For here we do not have a city that remains, but we are seeking the one that is to come.
…
17Heed your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they may do this with joy and not groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
18Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a good conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves well in all things.
