Matthew 10:29–31
Jesus: not one sparrow falls without the Father, and even your hairs are counted
Study it word by word29Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
30But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
In its context
27What I tell you in the dark, say in the light; and what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
…
32So everyone who acknowledges me before people, I too will acknowledge him before my Father who is in heaven;
33but whoever denies me before people, I too will deny him before my Father who is in heaven.
