Psalms 139:13–16

David finds himself woven by God in his mother's womb

13For you created my kidneys; you wove me in the womb of my mother.

14I will give you thanks, for fearfully I have been wonderfully made; wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it very well.

15My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, embroidered in the depths of the earth.

16My embryo your eyes saw; and in your book all of them were written, the days that were formed, when there was not one of them.

11And if I say, “Surely darkness will cover me, and the light around me become night,”

12even darkness is not dark to you, and the night shines like the day; as the darkness, so the light.

…

17And to me how precious are your thoughts, El; how vast is the sum of them.

18If I count them, they are more than the sand; I awake, and still I am with you.
