Romans 6:9–11
Raised, he dies no more; death no longer rules over him
Study it word by word9knowing that the Messiah, having been raised from the dead, no longer dies; death no longer is master over him.
10For the death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
11So you also consider yourselves to be dead to sin but alive to God in the Messiah Jesus.
In its context
7for the one who has died has been declared righteous, free from sin.
8Now if we died with the Messiah, we believe that we will also live with him,
…
12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obey its desires;
13and do not present your members as weapons of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as weapons of righteousness to God.
