forכִּיlengthאֹרֶךְof daysיָמִיםand yearsוּשְׁנוֹתof lifeחַיִּיםand peaceוְשָׁלוֹםthey will addיוֹסִיפוּto you.לָךְ
Let notאַלloyal loveחֶסֶדand faithfulnessוֶאֱמֶתabandon you;יַעַזְבֻךָbind themקָשְׁרֵםaroundעַלyour neck;גַּרְגְּרוֹתֶיךָwrite themכָּתְבֵםonעַלthe tabletלוּחַof your heart;לִבֶּךָ
and you will findוּמְצָאfavorחֵןand goodוְ טוֹבregardשֵׂכֶלin the eyesבְּעֵינֵיof Elohimאֱלֹהִיםand of man.וְאָדָם
TrustבְּטַחinאֶלYHWHיְהוָהwith allבְּכָלyour heart,לִבֶּךָandוְonאֶלyour own understandingבִּינָתְךָdo notאַלlean.תִּשָּׁעֵן

The correctionמוּסַרof YHWH,יְהוָהmy son,בְּנִיdo notאַלreject,תִּמְאָסand do notוְאַלgrow wearyתָּקֹץof his reproof;בְּתוֹכַחְתּוֹ
forכִּיwhomאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהlovesיֶאֱהַבhe reproves,יוֹכִיחַandוּas a fatherכְאָבreproves the sonבֵּןin whom he delights.יִרְצֶה
Happy isאַשְׁרֵיthe manאָדָםwho findsמָצָאwisdom,חָכְמָהandוְthe manאָדָםwho obtainsיָפִיקinsight;תְּבוּנָה
forכִּיher profitסַחְרָהּis betterטוֹבthan the profitמִסְּחַרof silver,כָּסֶףandוּher yieldתְּבוּאָתָהּthan gold.מֵחָרוּץ

Her waysדְּרָכֶיהָare waysדַרְכֵיof pleasantness,נֹעַםand allוְכָלher pathsנְתִיבוֹתֶיהָare peace.שָׁלוֹם

My son,בְּנִיlet them notאַלslipיָלֻזוּfrom your eyes;מֵעֵינֶיךָkeepנְצֹרsound judgmentתֻּשִׁיָּהand discretion;וּמְזִמָּה
and they will beוְיִהְיוּlifeחַיִּיםfor your soul,לְנַפְשֶׁךָandוְfavorחֵןfor your neck.לְגַרְגְּרֹתֶיךָ
Thenאָזyou will walkתֵּלֵךְsecurelyלָבֶטַחon your way,דַּרְכֶּךָandוְyour footרַגְלְךָwill notלֹאstumble.תִגּוֹף
Ifאִםyou lie down,תִּשְׁכַּבyou will notלֹאbe in dread;תִפְחָדandוְyou will lie down,שָׁכַבְתָּandוְyour sleepשְׁנָתֶךָwill be sweet.עָרְבָה
Do notאַלbe afraidתִּירָאof suddenפִּתְאֹםdread,מִפַּחַדorוּof the ruinמִשֹּׁאַתof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםwhenכִּיit comes;תָבֹא
forכִּיYHWHיְהוָהwill beיִהְיֶהyour confidence,בְכִסְלֶךָandוְwill keepשָׁמַרyour footרַגְלְךָfrom being caught.מִלָּכֶד
Do notאַלwithholdתִּמְנַעgoodטוֹבfrom its owners,מִבְּעָלָיוwhen it isבִּהְיוֹתin the powerלְאֵלof your handיָדְךָto do it.לַעֲשׂוֹת
Do notאַלsayתֹּאמַרto your neighbor,לְרֵעֲךָ“Goלֵךְandוָcome back,שׁוּבandוּtomorrowמָחָרI will give it,”אֶתֵּןwhenוְyou have itיֵשׁwith you.אִתָּךְ
Do notאַלplotתַּחֲרֹשׁevilרָעָהagainstעַלyour neighbor,רֵעֲךָwhileוְheהוּאdwellsיוֹשֵׁבtrustinglyלָבֶטַחbeside you.אִתָּךְ
Do notאַלcontendתָּרִיבwithעִםanyoneאָדָםwithout cause,חִנָּםifאִםhe has notלֹאdone youגְמָלְךָharm.רָעָה
Do notאַלenvyתְּקַנֵּאa manבְּאִישׁof violence,חָמָסand do notוְאַלchooseתִּבְחַרanyבְּכָלof his ways;דְּרָכָיו
forכִּיthe devious person isנָלוֹזan abominationתוֹעֲבַתto YHWH,יְהוָהbutוְwithאֶתthe uprightיְשָׁרִיםis his intimate counsel.סוֹדוֹ
The curseמְאֵרַתof YHWHיְהוָהis on the houseבְּבֵיתof the wicked,רָשָׁעbutוּthe dwellingנְוֵהof the righteousצַדִּיקִיםhe blesses.יְבָרֵךְ
Ifאִםheהוּאscoffsיָלִיץat the scoffers,לַלֵּצִיםthenוְto the humbleלַעֲנָוִיםhe givesיִתֶּןfavor.חֵן
The wiseחֲכָמִיםwill inheritיִנְחָלוּhonor,כָּבוֹדbutוּthe senselessכְסִילִיםcarry offמֵרִיםdisgrace.קָלוֹן
