Let my prayerתְּפִלָּתִיbe establishedתִּכּוֹןas incenseקְטֹרֶתbefore you,לְפָנֶיךָthe lifting upמַשְׂאַתof my palmsכַּפַּיas the eveningעָרֶבoffering.מִנְחַת
Set,שִׁיתָהYHWH,יְהוָהa guardשָׁמְרָהover my mouth;לְפִיkeep watchנִצְּרָהoverעַלthe doorדַּלof my lips.שְׂפָתָי
Do notאַלinclineתַּטmy heartלִבִּיto an evilרָעthing,לְדָבָרto practiceלְהִתְעוֹלֵלdeedsעֲלִלוֹתin wickednessבְּרֶשַׁעwithאֶתmenאִישִׁיםwho workפֹּעֲלֵיwickedness;אָוֶןand let me notוּבַלeatאֶלְחַםof their delicacies.בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶם
Let the righteousצַדִּיקstrike me—יֶהֶלְמֵנִיit is loyal love;חֶסֶדand let him rebuke me—וְיוֹכִיחֵנִיit is oilשֶׁמֶןfor the head;רֹאשׁlet my headרֹאשִׁיnotאַלrefuse it,יָנִיforכִּיstillעוֹדis my prayerוּתְפִלָּתִיagainst their evils.בְּרָעוֹתֵיהֶם
They have been thrown downנִשְׁמְטוּby the sidesבִידֵיof the rock,סֶלַעtheir judges,שֹׁפְטֵיהֶםand they will hearוְשָׁמְעוּmy sayings,אֲמָרַיforכִּיthey are pleasant.נָעֵמוּ
Asכְּמוֹone who plowsפֹלֵחַand breaks openוּבֹקֵעַthe earth,בָּאָרֶץour bonesעֲצָמֵינוּhave been scatteredנִפְזְרוּat the mouthלְפִיof Sheol.שְׁאוֹל
Forכִּיto you,אֵלֶיךָYHWHיְהֹוִהAdonai,אֲדֹנָיare my eyes;עֵינָיin youבְּכָהI take refuge;חָסִיתִיdo notאַלpour outתְּעַרmy soul.נַפְשִׁי
Keep meשָׁמְרֵנִיfrom the handsמִידֵיof the snareפַחthat they have laidיָקְשׁוּfor me,לִיand from the trapsוּמֹקְשׁוֹתof those who workפֹּעֲלֵיwickedness.אָוֶן
Let the wickedרְשָׁעִיםfallיִפְּלוּinto their netsבְמַכְמֹרָיוtogether,יַחַדwhile Iאָנֹכִי עַדpass on.אֶעֱבוֹר
