How longעַד אָנָהwill you assailתְּהוֹתְתוּa man?עַל אִישׁWill you murder him,תְּרָצְּחוּall of you,כֻלְּכֶםlike a wallכְּקִירleaning,נָטוּיa fenceגָּדֵרpushed over?הַדְּחוּיָה
Onlyאַךְfrom his heightמִשְּׂאֵתוֹthey have resolvedיָעֲצוּto push him down;לְהַדִּיחַthey delightיִרְצוּin lies;כָזָבwith their mouthבְּפִיוthey bless,יְבָרֵכוּbut inwardlyוּבְקִרְבָּםthey curse.יְקַלְלוּSelah.סֶלָה
Onlyאַךְbefore Elohimלֵאלֹהִיםbe silent,דּוֹמִּיmy soul,נַפְשִׁיforכִּיfrom himמִמֶּנּוּcomes my hope.תִּקְוָתִי
Onlyאַךְhe isהוּאmy Rockצוּרִיand my salvation,וִישׁוּעָתִיmy high refuge;מִשְׂגַּבִּיI will notלֹאbe moved.אֶמּוֹט
Upon Elohim restsעַל אֱלֹהִיםmy salvationיִשְׁעִיand my glory;וּכְבוֹדִיthe rockצוּרof my strength,עֻזִּיmy refuge isמַחְסִיin Elohim.בֵּאלֹהִים
Trustבִּטְחוּin himבוֹat allבְכָלtimes,עֵתpeople;עָםpour outשִׁפְכוּbefore himלְפָנָיוyour heart;לְבַבְכֶםElohim isאֱלֹהִיםa refugeמַחֲסֶהfor us.לָּנוּSelah.סֶלָה
Onlyאַךְvapor areהֶבֶלhuman beings,בְּנֵי אָדָםa lie areכָּזָבthe sonsבְּנֵיof man;אִישׁon going upלַעֲלוֹתin the scales,בְּמֹאזְנַיִםtheyהֵמָּהare togetherיָחַדlighter than vapor.מֵהֶבֶל
Do notאַלtrustתִּבְטְחוּin extortion,בְעֹשֶׁקand in robberyוּבְגָזֵלdo notאַלbecome vain;תֶּהְבָּלוּifכִּיwealthחַיִלincreases,יָנוּבdo notאַלsetתָּשִׁיתוּyour heart on it.לֵב
OnceאַחַתElohimאֱלֹהִיםhas spoken,דִּבֶּרtwiceשְׁתַּיִםI have heardשָׁמָעְתִּיthis:זוּthatכִּיstrength belongsעֹזto Elohim,לֵאלֹהִים
and to you,וּלְךָAdonai,אֲדֹנָיbelongs loyal love;חָסֶדforכִּיyouאַתָּהrepayתְשַׁלֵּםeach oneלְאִישׁaccording to his work.כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ
