From the mouthמִפִּיof childrenעוֹלְלִיםand of nursing infantsוְיֹנְקִיםyou have foundedיִסַּדְתָּstrengthעֹזbecause ofלְמַעַןyour adversaries,צוֹרְרֶיךָto put an end toלְהַשְׁבִּיתthe enemyאוֹיֵבand the one who takes vengeance.וּמִתְנַקֵּם
WhenכִּיI seeאֶרְאֶהyour heavens,שָׁמֶיךָthe worksמַעֲשֵׂיof your fingers,אֶצְבְּעֹתֶיךָthe moonיָרֵחַand the starsוְכוֹכָבִיםthat you have established,אֲשֶׁר כּוֹנָנְתָּה
what isמָהthe mortalאֱנוֹשׁthatכִּיyou remember him,תִזְכְּרֶנּוּand the sonוּבֶןof manאָדָםthatכִּיyou attend to him?תִפְקְדֶנּוּ
You made himוַתְּחַסְּרֵהוּa little lowerמְּעַטthan Elohim,מֵאֱלֹהִיםand with gloryוְכָבוֹדand majestyוְהָדָרyou crowned him.תְּעַטְּרֵהוּ
You make him ruleתַּמְשִׁילֵהוּover the worksבְּמַעֲשֵׂיof your hands;יָדֶיךָall thingsכֹּלyou putשַׁתָּהunderתַחַתhis feet:רַגְלָיו
sheepצֹנֶהand cattle,וַאֲלָפִיםall of them,כֻּלָּםand alsoוְגַםthe beastsבַּהֲמוֹתof the field,שָׂדָי
the birdsצִפּוֹרof the skyשָׁמַיִםand the fishוּדְגֵיof the sea,הַיָּםwhatever passesעֹבֵרalong the pathsאָרְחוֹתof the seas.יַמִּים
