I will be gladאֶשְׂמְחָהand exultוְאֶעֶלְצָהin you;בָךְI will sing psalmsאֲזַמְּרָהto your name,שִׁמְךָElyon.עֶלְיוֹן
Whenבְּmy enemiesאוֹיְבַיturnשׁוּבback,אָחוֹרthey stumbleיִכָּשְׁלוּand perishוְיֹאבְדוּbefore you.מִפָּנֶיךָ
Forכִּיyou have upheldעָשִׂיתָmy rightמִשְׁפָּטִיand my cause;וְדִינִיyou have satיָשַׁבְתָּon the throne,לְכִסֵּאrighteousצֶדֶקjudge.שׁוֹפֵט
You have rebukedגָּעַרְתָּthe nations,גוֹיִםyou have destroyedאִבַּדְתָּthe wicked;רָשָׁעtheir nameשְׁמָםyou have blotted outמָחִיתָforever and ever.לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד
The enemyהָאוֹיֵבhas come to an end:תַּמּוּruinsחֳרָבוֹתforever;לָנֶצַחcitiesוְעָרִיםyou have uprooted;נָתַשְׁתָּhas perishedאָבַדtheir memory,זִכְרָםtheirs.הֵמָּה
But YHWHוַיהוָהis seatedיֵשֵׁבforever;לְעוֹלָםhe has establishedכּוֹנֵןhis throneכִּסְאוֹfor judgment.לַמִּשְׁפָּט
And heוְהוּאwill judgeיִשְׁפֹּטthe worldתֵּבֵלin righteousness;בְּצֶדֶקhe will judgeיָדִיןthe peoplesלְאֻמִּיםwith uprightness.בְּמֵישָׁרִים
AndוִYHWHיְהוָהwill beיהִיa high refugeמִשְׂגָּבfor the oppressed,לַדָּךְa high refugeמִשְׂגָּבin timesלְעִתּוֹתof distress.בַּצָּרָה
Andוְthose who knowיוֹדְעֵיyour nameשְׁמֶךָwill trustיִבְטְחוּin you,בְךָforכִּיyou have not abandonedלֹא עָזַבְתָּthose who seek you,דֹרְשֶׁיךָYHWH.יְהוָה
Sing psalmsזַמְּרוּto YHWH,לַיהוָהwho dwellsיֹשֵׁבin Zion;צִיּוֹןproclaimהַגִּידוּamong the peoplesבָעַמִּיםhis deeds.עֲלִילוֹתָיו
Forכִּיhe who demands an accountingדֹרֵשׁfor bloodדָּמִיםhas rememberedזָכָרthem;אוֹתָםhe has not forgottenלֹא שָׁכַחthe cryצַעֲקַתof the humble.עֲנָוִים
Show me favor,חָנְנֵנִיYHWH;יְהוָהseeרְאֵהmy afflictionעָנְיִיbecause of those who hate me,מִשֹּׂנְאָיyou who lift me upמְרוֹמְמִיfrom the gatesמִשַּׁעֲרֵיof death,מָוֶת
so thatלְמַעַןI may recountאֲסַפְּרָהallכָּלyour praisesתְּהִלָּתֶיךָin the gatesבְּשַׁעֲרֵיof the daughterבַתof Zion;צִיּוֹןI will be jubilantאָגִילָהin your salvation.בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ
The nationsגוֹיִםhave sunkטָבְעוּinto the pitבְּשַׁחַתthat they made;עָשׂוּin the netבְּרֶשֶׁתthatזוּthey hidטָמָנוּtheir footרַגְלָםhas been caught.נִלְכְּדָה
YHWHיְהוָהhas made himself known;נוֹדַעhe has carried outעָשָׂהjudgment;מִשְׁפָּטin the workבְּפֹעַלof his handsכַּפָּיוthe wickedרָשָׁעis ensnared.נוֹקֵשׁHigaion.הִגָּיוֹןSelah.סֶלָה
The wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill returnיָשׁוּבוּto Sheol,לִשְׁאוֹלָהallכָּלthe nationsגּוֹיִםthat forgetשְׁכֵחֵיElohim.אֱלֹהִים
Forכִּיnotלֹאforeverלָנֶצַחwill the needyאֶבְיוֹןbe forgotten;יִשָּׁכַחthe hopeתִּקְוַתof the afflictedעֲנִיִּיםwill not perishתֹּאבַדforever.לָעַד
Rise up,קוּמָהYHWH;יְהוָהlet notאַלthe mortalאֱנוֹשׁgrow strong;יָעֹזlet the nationsגוֹיִםbe judgedיִשָּׁפְטוּbefore you.עַל פָּנֶיךָ
Putשִׁיתָהterrorמוֹרָהon them,לָהֶםYHWH;יְהוָהlet the nationsגוֹיִםknowיֵדְעוּthat theyהֵמָּהare mortals.אֱנוֹשׁSelah.סֶּלָה
