Ifכִּיthe foundationsהַשָּׁתוֹתare torn down,יֵהָרֵסוּןwhatמַהhas the righteousצַדִּיקdone?פָּעָל
YHWHיְהוָהis inבְּhis holyקָדְשׁוֹtemple;הֵיכַלYHWH,יְהוָהin the heavensבַּשָּׁמַיִםis his throne;כִּסְאוֹhis eyesעֵינָיוsee,יֶחֱזוּhis eyelidsעַפְעַפָּיוtestיִבְחֲנוּhuman beings.בְּנֵי אָדָם
YHWHיְהוָהtestsיִבְחָןthe righteous,צַדִּיקbut the wickedוְרָשָׁעand the one who lovesוְאֹהֵבviolenceחָמָסhis soulנַפְשׁוֹhates.שָׂנְאָה
He will rainיַמְטֵרupon the wickedעַל רְשָׁעִיםsnares,פַּחִיםfireאֵשׁand sulfur;וְגָפְרִיתand a scorchingזִלְעָפוֹתwindוְרוּחַwill be the portionמְנָתof their cup.כּוֹסָם
ForכִּיYHWHיְהוָהis righteous;צַדִּיקhe lovesאָהֵבacts of righteousness;צְדָקוֹתthe uprightיָשָׁרwill seeיֶחֱזוּhis face.פָנֵימוֹ
