YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

1 Chronicles 16:23-33
23Sing to YHWH, all the earth; bring the news from day to day of his salvation. 24Tell among the nations his glory, among all the peoples his wonders. 25For great is YHWH and greatly to be praised, and awesome is he above all gods. 26For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but YHWH made the heavens. 27Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place. 28Give to YHWH, families of the peoples, give to YHWH glory and strength. 29Give to YHWH the glory of his name; bring an offering and come before him; bow down to YHWH in the splendor of holiness. 30Tremble before him, all the earth; yes, the world stands firm; it will not be moved. 31Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, ‘YHWH reigns!’ 32Let the sea thunder, and its fullness; let the field exult, and all that is in it. 33Then the trees of the forest will shout for joy before YHWH, for he comes to judge the earth.
1Sing to YHWH a new song; sing to YHWH, all the earth. 2Sing to YHWH, bless his name; bring the good news from day to day of his salvation. 3Tell among the nations his glory, among all the peoples his wonders. 4For great is YHWH and greatly to be praised; fearsome is he above all the gods. 5For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but YHWH made the heavens. 6Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7Give to YHWH, families of the peoples, give to YHWH glory and strength. 8Give to YHWH the glory of his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. 9Bow down to YHWH in the majesty of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. 10Say among the nations, “YHWH reigns!” The world also is firm; it will not be shaken; he will judge the peoples with uprightness. 11Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea thunder, and what fills it; 12let the field exult, and all that is in it; then all the trees of the forest will shout for joy 13before YHWH, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth; he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his faithfulness.
