And I,Κἀγὼwhen I cameἐλθὼνtoπρὸςyou,ὑμᾶςbrothers,ἀδελφοίdid notοὐcomeἦλθονwithκαθ’superiorityὑπεροχὴνof wordλόγουorἢof wisdomσοφίαςas I proclaimedκαταγγέλλωνto youὑμῖνthe testimonyτὸ μαρτύριονof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
ForγὰρI decidedἔκρινάnotοὐto knowεἰδέναιanythingτιamongἐνyouὑμῖνexceptεἰ μὴJesusἸησοῦνthe Messiah,Χριστὸνandκαὶhimτοῦτονcrucified.ἐσταυρωμένον
And Iκἀγὼwasἐγενόμηνwithπρὸςyouὑμᾶςinἐνweaknessἀσθενείᾳandκαὶinἐνfearφόβῳandκαὶinἐνmuchπολλῷtrembling,τρόμῳ
andκαὶmyὁ μουwordλόγοςandκαὶmyτὸ μουproclamationκήρυγμάwerenotοὐκwithἐνpersuasionπειθοῖof wisdom,σοφίαςbutἀλλ’withἐνa demonstrationἀποδείξειof the Spiritπνεύματοςandκαὶof power,δυνάμεως
so thatἵναyourἡ ὑμῶνfaithπίστιςmight notμὴrestᾖonἐνthe wisdomσοφίᾳof menἀνθρώπωνbutἀλλ’onἐνthe powerδυνάμειof God.θεοῦ
Yetδὲwe speakλαλοῦμενwisdomΣοφίανamongἐνthe mature,τοῖς τελείοιςbutδὲa wisdomσοφίανnotοὐof thisτοῦ τούτουage,αἰῶνοςnorοὐδὲof the rulersτῶν ἀρχόντωνof thisτοῦ τούτουage,αἰῶνοςwhoτῶνare passing away.καταργουμένων
Butἀλλὰwe speakλαλοῦμενGod’sθεοῦwisdomσοφίανinἐνa mystery,μυστηρίῳtheτὴνhidden wisdom,ἀποκεκρυμμένηνwhichἣνGodὁ θεὸςdestined beforehandπροώρισενbeforeπρὸthe agesτῶν αἰώνωνforεἰςourἡμῶνglory,δόξαν
whichἣνnoneοὐδεὶςof the rulersτῶν ἀρχόντωνof thisτοῦ τούτουageαἰῶνοςhas known;ἔγνωκενforγὰρifεἰthey had known it,ἔγνωσανthey would notοὐκ ἂνhave crucifiedἐσταύρωσανthe Lordτὸν κύριονof glory.τῆς δόξης
Butἀλλὰasκαθὼςit is written:γέγραπταιWhatἋeyeὀφθαλμὸςdid notοὐκseeεἶδενandκαὶearοὖςdid notοὐκhearἤκουσενandκαὶdid notοὐκcome upἀνέβηintoἐπὶthe heartκαρδίανof man,ἀνθρώπουwhat thingsὅσαGodὁ θεὸςpreparedἡτοίμασενfor those whoτοῖςloveἀγαπῶσινhim.αὐτόν
Forγὰρto usἡμῖνGodὁ θεὸςrevealed itἀπεκάλυψενthroughδιὰthe Spirit;τοῦ πνεύματοςforγὰρthe Spiritτὸ πνεῦμαsearchesἐραυνᾷall things,πάνταevenκαὶthe depthsτὰ βάθηof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
Forγὰρwhoτίςamong menἀνθρώπωνknowsοἶδενthe thingsτὰof a manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουexceptεἰ μὴthe spiritτὸ πνεῦμαof the manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουthat isτὸinἐνhim?αὐτῷSoοὕτωςalsoκαὶno oneοὐδεὶςhas knownἔγνωκενthe thingsτὰof Godτοῦ θεοῦexceptεἰ μὴthe Spiritτὸ πνεῦμαof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
Nowδὲweἡμεῖςdid notοὐreceiveἐλάβομενthe spiritτὸ πνεῦμαof the worldτοῦ κόσμουbutἀλλὰthe Spiritτὸ πνεῦμαwho isτὸfromἐκGod,τοῦ θεοῦso thatἵναwe may knowεἰδῶμενthe thingsτὰfreely givenχαρισθένταto usἡμῖνbyὑπὸGod.τοῦ θεοῦ
These thingsἃwe alsoκαὶspeak,λαλοῦμενnotοὐκinἐνwordsλόγοιςtaughtδιδακτοῖςby humanἀνθρωπίνηςwisdomσοφίαςbutἀλλ’inἐνwordstaughtδιδακτοῖςby the Spirit,πνεύματοςinterpretingσυγκρίνοντεςspiritual thingsπνευματικὰwith spiritual words.πνευματικοῖς
Butδὲthe naturalΨυχικὸςmanἄνθρωποςdoes notοὐacceptδέχεταιthe thingsτὰof the Spiritτοῦ πνεύματοςof God,τοῦ θεοῦforγὰρthey areἐστίνfoolishnessμωρίαto him,αὐτῷandκαὶhe cannotοὐ δύναταιunderstand them,γνῶναιbecauseὅτιthey are examinedἀνακρίνεταιspiritually.πνευματικῶς
Butδὲthe spiritual personὁ πνευματικὸςexaminesἀνακρίνειall things,τὰ πάνταbutδὲhe himselfαὐτὸςis examinedἀνακρίνεταιbyὑπ’no one.οὐδενὸς
Forγὰρwhoτίςhas knownἔγνωthe mindνοῦνof the Lord,κυρίουthatὃςhe will instructσυμβιβάσειhim?αὐτόνButδὲweἡμεῖςhaveἔχομενthe mindνοῦνof the Messiah.Χριστοῦ
