YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

anointed
Anointed: someone on whom oil has been poured to set him apart for a task from God (priest, king). In Hebrew it is "mashiach", from which "Messiah" comes; in Greek, "Christ".

Translation note
“Said” may be what Samuel said to himself on seeing the eldest son. “His anointed” is the one YHWH has chosen to be anointed king.
The context
5He said, “In peace. I have come to sacrifice to YHWH. Sanctify yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.
6 · This verse (above)
7YHWH said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have despised him; for it is not what the human being sees: the human being sees what is before the eyes, but YHWH sees the heart.”
