The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

2 Chronicles 8:1-18
1And it happened at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of YHWH and his own house, 2that the cities that Huram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them, and he settled the sons of Israel there. 3Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and prevailed against it. 4He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the storage cities that he built in Hamath. 5He built Upper Beth-horon and Lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars, 6and Baalath, and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities of the chariots and the cities of the horsemen, and all the desire of Solomon, what he desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion. 7All the people who were left of the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who were not of Israel, 8of their sons who were left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel had not made an end of, Solomon raised them up for forced labor, to this day. 9But of the sons of Israel Solomon did not make slaves for his work, for they were men of war, commanders of his captains, and commanders of his chariots and of his horsemen. 10These were the chiefs of the prefects that King Solomon had: two hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people. 11Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said, “No wife of mine shall live in the house of David king of Israel, for the places to which the ark of YHWH has come are holy.” 12Then Solomon offered up burnt offerings to YHWH on the altar of YHWH that he had built before the portico, 13according to what was due each day, offering up according to the commandment of Moses, on the Sabbaths, at the new moons, and at the appointed times, three times a year: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths. 14According to the rule of David his father he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their posts, to praise and to minister in front of the priests according to what was due each day, and the gatekeepers in their divisions for gate by gate, for so was the commandment of David, the man of Elohim. 15They did not turn aside from the commandment of the king concerning the priests and the Levites in any matter, or concerning the treasuries. 16All the work of Solomon was prepared until the day of the foundation of the house of YHWH and until it was finished; the house of YHWH was complete. 17Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth, on the shore of the sea in the land of Edom. 18Huram sent him, by the hand of his servants, ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to King Solomon.
10And it happened, at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the two houses, the house of YHWH and the house of the king 11— Hiram king of Tyre had supplied Solomon with timber of cedar and timber of cypress and with gold, according to all his pleasure — that then King Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. 12And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities that Solomon had given him, and they were not right in his eyes. 13And he said, “What are these cities that you have given me, my brother?” And he called them the land of Cabul to this day. 14And Hiram had sent to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold. 15And this is the matter of the forced labor that King Solomon raised to build the house of YHWH and his house and the Millo and the wall of Jerusalem and Hazor and Megiddo and Gezer. 16Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and taken Gezer and burned it with fire, and had killed the Canaanite who lived in the city, and had given it as a dowry to his daughter, the wife of Solomon. 17And Solomon built Gezer and Lower Beth-horon, 18and Baalath and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land, 19and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and the cities for chariots, and the cities for horsemen, and the desire of Solomon that he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion. 20All the people who were left of the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who were not of the sons of Israel, 21their sons who were left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel were not able to devote to destruction, Solomon raised them to be subject to forced labor until this day. 22But of the sons of Israel Solomon did not make a slave, for they were the men of war, and his servants, and his officials, and his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and of his horsemen. 23These were the chiefs of the prefects who were over the work for Solomon, five hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people who did the work. 24But the daughter of Pharaoh went up from the city of David to her house that Solomon had built for her; then he built the Millo. 25And Solomon offered three times in the year burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar that he had built for YHWH, and he offered up in smoke with it, on that which was before YHWH; and he completed the house. 26And King Solomon made ships in Ezion-geber, which is near Eloth, on the shore of the Sea of Reeds, in the land of Edom. 27And Hiram sent in the ships his servants, men of ships, who knew the sea, with the servants of Solomon. 28And they came to Ophir and took from there gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to King Solomon.
The context
11Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said, “No wife of mine shall live in the house of David king of Israel, for the places to which the ark of YHWH has come are holy.”
