- The spiritרוּחַruach
Spirit of God
The spirit of Elohim or YHWH: his presence and power.
Where else “ruach” appears- of YHWHיְהוָהyehva
YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.
Where else “yehva” appears- spokeדִּבֶּרdiber

To speak, say something; above all God to his people.
Where else “diber” appears- his wordמִלָּתmilat

A word, a saying; what someone says. It is a poetic word, used very often in the book of Job.

Translation note
Jesus and the apostles say that David spoke by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 22:43; Acts 1:16). In the Old Testament this translation writes “spirit” in lowercase because the Hebrew does not make the distinction.
