Ephesians 3

For this reasonΤούτου χάρινI,ἐγὼPaul,Παῦλοςthe prisonerὁ δέσμιοςof the Messiahτοῦ ΧριστοῦJesusἸησοῦfor the sake ofὑπὲρyou,ὑμῶνthe nations—τῶν ἐθνῶν

ifεἴindeedγεyou have heardἠκούσατεof the administrationτὴν οἰκονομίανof the graceτῆς χάριτοςof Godτοῦ θεοῦthat was givenτῆς δοθείσηςto meμοιforεἰςyou,ὑμᾶς

howbyκατὰrevelationἀποκάλυψινthe mysteryτὸ μυστήριονwas made knownἐγνωρίσθηto me,μοιasκαθὼςI wrote beforeπροέγραψαinἐνbrief,ὀλίγῳ

by which,πρὸς ὃwhen you read,ἀναγινώσκοντεςyou canδύνασθεperceiveνοῆσαιmy insightτὴν σύνεσίν μουintoἐνthe mysteryτῷ μυστηρίῳof the Messiah,τοῦ Χριστοῦ

whichὃin otherἑτέραιςgenerationsγενεαῖςwas notοὐκmade knownἐγνωρίσθηto the sonsτοῖς υἱοῖςof menτῶν ἀνθρώπωνasὡςit has nowνῦνbeen revealedἀπεκαλύφθηto his holyτοῖς ἁγίοις αὐτοῦapostlesἀποστόλοιςandκαὶprophetsπροφήταιςinἐνthe Spirit:πνεύματι

thatthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηareεἶναιfellow heirsσυγκληρονόμαandκαὶfellow members of the bodyσύσσωμαandκαὶfellow partakersσυμμέτοχαof the promiseτῆς ἐπαγγελίαςinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesusἸησοῦthroughδιὰthe good news,τοῦ εὐαγγελίου

of whichοὗI becameἐγενήθηνa servantδιάκονοςaccording toκατὰthe giftτὴν δωρεὰνof the graceτῆς χάριτοςof Godτοῦ θεοῦthat was givenτῆς δοθείσηςto meμοιaccording toκατὰthe workingτὴν ἐνέργειανof his power.τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ

To me,ἐμοὶless than the leastτῷ ἐλαχιστοτέρῳof allπάντωνsaints,ἁγίωνwas givenἐδόθηthisαὕτηgrace:ἡ χάριςto proclaimεὐαγγελίσασθαιto the nationsτοῖς ἔθνεσινthe good news ofεὐαγγελίσασθαιthe unfathomableτὸ ἀνεξιχνίαστονrichesπλοῦτοςof the Messiah,τοῦ Χριστοῦ

andκαὶto bring to lightφωτίσαιfor allπάνταςwhatτίςis the administrationἡ οἰκονομίαof the mysteryτοῦ μυστηρίουhiddenτοῦ ἀποκεκρυμμένουfromἀπὸthe agesτῶν αἰώνωνinἐνGod,τῷ θεῷwhoτῷcreatedκτίσαντιall things,τὰ πάντα

so thatἵναnowνῦνthe manifoldἡ πολυποίκιλοςwisdomσοφίαof Godτοῦ θεοῦmight be made knownγνωρισθῇto the principalitiesταῖς ἀρχαῖςandκαὶthe authoritiesταῖς ἐξουσίαιςinἐνthe heavenly placesτοῖς ἐπουρανίοιςthroughδιὰthe assembly,τῆς ἐκκλησίας

according toκατὰthe eternal purposeπρόθεσιν τῶν αἰώνωνthatἣνhe carried outἐποίησενinἐνthe Messiahτῷ ΧριστῷJesusἸησοῦour Lord,τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν

inἐνwhomᾧwe haveἔχομενboldnessτὴν παρρησίανandκαὶaccessπροσαγωγὴνwithἐνconfidenceπεποιθήσειthroughδιὰfaithτῆς πίστεωςin him.αὐτοῦ

SoδιὸI ask youαἰτοῦμαιnotμὴto lose heartἐγκακεῖνatἐνmy afflictionsταῖς θλίψεσίν μουforὑπὲρyou,ὑμῶνwhichἥτιςisἐστὶνyourὑμῶνglory.δόξα

For this reasonΤούτου χάρινI bendκάμπτωmy kneesτὰ γόνατά μουbeforeπρὸςthe Father,τὸν πατέρα

fromἐξwhomοὗeveryπᾶσαfamilyπατριὰinἐνheavenοὐρανοῖςandκαὶonἐπὶearthγῆςis named,ὀνομάζεται

thatἵναhe may grantδῷyou,ὑμῖνaccording toκατὰthe richesτὸ πλοῦτοςof his glory,τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦto be strengthenedκραταιωθῆναιwith powerδυνάμειthroughδιὰhis Spiritτοῦ πνεύματος αὐτοῦinεἰςthe innerτὸν ἔσωman,ἄνθρωπον

thatthe Messiahτὸν Χριστὸνmay dwellκατοικῆσαιthroughδιὰfaithτῆς πίστεωςinἐνyour hearts,ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶνbeing rootedἐρριζωμένοιandκαὶgroundedτεθεμελιωμένοιinἐνlove,ἀγάπῃ

so thatἵναyou may be ableἐξισχύσητεto graspκαταλαβέσθαιwithσὺνallπᾶσινthe saintsτοῖς ἁγίοιςwhat isτίthe breadthτὸ πλάτοςandκαὶlengthμῆκοςandκαὶheightὕψοςandκαὶdepth,βάθος

andτεto knowγνῶναίthe loveτὴν ἀγάπηνof the Messiahτοῦ Χριστοῦthat surpassesὑπερβάλλουσανknowledge,τῆς γνώσεωςso thatἵναyou may be filledπληρωθῆτεtoεἰςallπᾶνthe fullnessτὸ πλήρωμαof God.τοῦ θεοῦ

Nowδὲto the one whoΤῷis ableδυναμένῳto doποιῆσαιfar beyondὑπὲρall things,πάνταimmeasurably moreὑπερεκπερισσοῦthan whatὧνwe askαἰτούμεθαorἢthink,νοοῦμενaccording toκατὰthe powerτὴν δύναμινthatτὴνis at workἐνεργουμένηνinἐνus,ἡμῖν

to himαὐτῷbethe gloryἡ δόξαinἐνthe assemblyτῇ ἐκκλησίᾳandκαὶinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesusἸησοῦtoεἰςallπάσαςthe generationsτὰς γενεὰςof the ageτοῦ αἰῶνοςof the ages.τῶν αἰώνωνAmen.ἀμήν
