amongἐνwhomοἷςweἡμεῖςallπάντεςalsoκαὶonceποτεlivedἀνεστράφημένinἐνthe desiresταῖς ἐπιθυμίαιςof our flesh,τῆς σαρκὸς ἡμῶνdoingποιοῦντεςthe wishesτὰ θελήματαof the fleshτῆς σαρκὸςandκαὶof the mind,τῶν διανοιῶνandκαὶwe wereἤμεθαby natureφύσειchildrenτέκναof wrath,ὀργῆςasὡςalsoκαὶthe rest.οἱ λοιποί

evenκαὶwhen we wereὄντας ἡμᾶςdeadνεκροὺςin trespasses,τοῖς παραπτώμασινmade us alive togetherσυνεζωοποίησενwith the Messiahτῷ Χριστῷ—by graceχάριτίyou have beenἐστεsaved—σεσῳσμένοι
andκαὶraised us up with himσυνήγειρενandκαὶseated us with himσυνεκάθισενinἐνthe heavenly placesτοῖς ἐπουρανίοιςinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesus,Ἰησοῦ
so thatἵναhe might showἐνδείξηταιinἐνthe agesτοῖς αἰῶσινto comeτοῖς ἐπερχομένοιςthe surpassingτὸ ὑπερβάλλονrichesπλοῦτοςof his graceτῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦinἐνkindnessχρηστότητιtowardἐφ’usἡμᾶςinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesus.Ἰησοῦ

ThereforeΔιὸrememberμνημονεύετεthatὅτιonceποτὲyou,ὑμεῖςthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηinἐνthe flesh,σαρκίwho were calledοἱ λεγόμενοι“uncircumcision”ἀκροβυστίαbyὑπὸwhat is calledτῆς λεγομένης“circumcision,”περιτομῆςinἐνthe flesh,σαρκὶmade by hands—χειροποιήτου
thatὅτιyou wereἦτεat thatτῷ ἐκείνῳtimeκαιρῷwithoutχωρὶςthe Messiah,Χριστοῦalienated fromἀπηλλοτριωμένοιthe citizenshipτῆς πολιτείαςof Israelτοῦ Ἰσραὴλandκαὶstrangersξένοιto the covenantsτῶν διαθηκῶνof promise,τῆς ἐπαγγελίαςhavingἔχοντεςnoμὴhopeἐλπίδαandκαὶwithout Godἄθεοιinἐνthe world.τῷ κόσμῳ
Butδὲnowνυνὶinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesusἸησοῦyouὑμεῖςwhoοἵonceποτεwereὄντεςfar offμακρὰνhave becomeἐγενήθητεnearἐγγὺςbyἐνthe bloodτῷ αἵματιof the Messiah.τοῦ Χριστοῦ

having abolishedκαταργήσαςthe lawτὸν νόμονof commandmentsτῶν ἐντολῶνinἐνdecrees,δόγμασινso thatἵναhe might createκτίσῃthe twoτοὺς δύοinἐνhimselfαὑτῷintoεἰςoneἕναnewκαινὸνman,ἄνθρωπονmakingποιῶνpeace,εἰρήνην
andκαὶmight reconcileἀποκαταλλάξῃbothτοὺς ἀμφοτέρουςinἐνoneἑνὶbodyσώματιto Godτῷ θεῷthroughδιὰthe cross,τοῦ σταυροῦhaving killedἀποκτείναςthe hostilityτὴν ἔχθρανbyἐνit.αὐτῷ
Andκαὶhe cameἐλθὼνandproclaimed the good news ofεὐηγγελίσατοpeaceεἰρήνηνto youὑμῖνwho wereτοῖςfar offμακρὰνandκαὶpeaceεἰρήνηνto thoseτοῖςnear;ἐγγύς
forὅτιthroughδι’himαὐτοῦweοἱbothἀμφότεροιhaveἔχομενaccessτὴν προσαγωγὴνinἐνoneἑνὶSpiritπνεύματιtoπρὸςthe Father.τὸν πατέρα
Soἄραthenοὖνyou areἐστὲno longerοὐκέτιstrangersξένοιandκαὶforeigners,πάροικοιbutἀλλὰyou areἐστὲfellow citizensσυμπολῖταιwith the saintsτῶν ἁγίωνandκαὶmembers of the householdοἰκεῖοιof God,τοῦ θεοῦ
builtἐποικοδομηθέντεςonἐπὶthe foundationτῷ θεμελίῳof the apostlesτῶν ἀποστόλωνandκαὶprophets,προφητῶνthe MessiahΧριστοῦJesusἸησοῦhimselfαὐτοῦbeingὄντοςthe cornerstone,ἀκρογωνιαίου
inἐνwhomᾧthe wholeπᾶσαbuilding,οἰκοδομὴbeing joined together,συναρμολογουμένηgrowsαὔξειintoεἰςa holyἅγιονsanctuaryναὸνinἐνthe Lord,κυρίῳ
inἐνwhomᾧyouὑμεῖςalsoκαὶare being built togetherσυνοικοδομεῖσθεintoεἰςa dwelling placeκατοικητήριονof Godτοῦ θεοῦinἐνthe Spirit.πνεύματι
