YHWH

The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

The context

3And you will not escape from his hand, but you will surely be seized and into his hand you will be given; and your eyes will see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and his mouth will speak with your mouth, and to Babylon you will go.

4 · This verse (above)

5In peace you will die; and as with the burnings for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so they will burn for you, and ‘Alas, lord!’ they will lament for you; for I have spoken the word, declares YHWH.”
