- YHWHיְהוָהyehva
YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

Translation note
This chapter describes the Day of Expiation, the only day of the year when the high priest went in behind the veil. The letter to the Hebrews explains it by looking at Jesus, who went in once for all with his own blood (Hebrews 9:6-12, 24-26).
The context
1 · This verse (above)
2And YHWH said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother that he is not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, in front of the cover of expiation that is on the ark, so that he does not die; for in the cloud I will appear over the cover of expiation.
