YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

Translation note
The text gives no reason; it says that leaven and honey are not offered up in smoke on the altar (2:11), though they may be presented as firstfruits (2:12). It can be understood that this is because they ferment.
The context
10What is left of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and for his sons; it is a most holy thing among the fire offerings of YHWH.
11 · This verse (above)
12As an offering of firstfruits you may present them to YHWH, but to the altar they shall not go up as a pleasing aroma.
