YHWHיְהוָהcalledוַיִּקְרָאto Mosesאֶל מֹשֶׁהand spokeוַיְדַבֵּרto himאֵלָיוfrom the tentמֵאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדsaying,לֵאמֹר
“Speakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלand sayוְאָמַרְתָּto them:אֲלֵהֶםWhenכִּיanyoneאָדָםof youמִכֶּםpresentsיַקְרִיבan offeringקָרְבָּןto YHWH,לַיהוָהfrom the beasts,מִן הַבְּהֵמָהfrom the herdמִן הַבָּקָרor from the flockוּמִן הַצֹּאןyou shall presentתַּקְרִיבוּyour offering.קָרְבַּנְכֶם
Ifאִםhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹis a burnt offeringעֹלָהfrom the herd,מִן הַבָּקָרhe shall presentיַקְרִיבֶנּוּa maleזָכָרwithout defect;תָּמִיםat the entranceאֶל פֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meetingמוֹעֵדhe shall presentיַקְרִיבit,אֹתוֹfor his acceptanceלִרְצֹנוֹbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָה
He shall layוְסָמַךְhis handיָדוֹonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the burnt offering,הָעֹלָהand it will be acceptedוְנִרְצָהfor himלוֹto make expiationלְכַפֵּרfor him.עָלָיו
He shall slaughterוְשָׁחַטthe young bullאֶת בֶּן הַבָּקָרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהand the sonsבְּנֵיof Aaron,אַהֲרֹןthe priests,הַכֹּהֲנִיםshall presentוְהִקְרִיבוּthe bloodאֶת הַדָּםand splashוְזָרְקוּthe bloodאֶת הַדָּםagainstעַלthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַall around,סָבִיבthe altar that isאֲשֶׁרat the entranceפֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵד
He shall skinוְהִפְשִׁיטthe burnt offeringהָעֹלָהand cutוְנִתַּחitאֹתָהּinto its pieces.לִנְתָחֶיהָ
The sonsבְּנֵיof Aaronאַהֲרֹןthe priestהַכֹּהֵןshall putוְנָתְנוּfireאֵשׁonעַלthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַand arrangeוְעָרְכוּwoodעֵצִיםonעַלthe fire.הָאֵשׁ
The sonsבְּנֵיof Aaron,אַהֲרֹןthe priests,הַכֹּהֲנִיםshall arrangeוְעָרְכוּthe pieces,הַנְּתָחִיםthe headהָרֹאשׁand the suet,וְ הַפָּדֶרonעַלthe woodהָעֵצִיםthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe fireהָאֵשׁthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
Its entrailsוְקִרְבּוֹand its legsוּכְרָעָיוhe shall washיִרְחַץin water,בַּמָּיִםand the priestהַכֹּהֵןshall offer up in smokeוְהִקְטִירall of itהַכֹּלon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחָהas a burnt offering,עֹלָהa fire offering,אִשֵּׁהa pleasingנִיחוֹחַaromaרֵיחַto YHWH.לַיהוָה
And ifוְאִםhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹis from the flock,מִן הַצֹּאןfrom the lambsמִן הַכְּשָׂבִיםorאוֹfrom the goats,מִן הָעִזִּיםfor a burnt offering,לְעֹלָהhe shall presentיַקְרִיבֶנּוּa maleזָכָרwithout defect.תָּמִים
He shall slaughterוְשָׁחַטitאֹתוֹonעַלthe sideיֶרֶךְof the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַnorthwardצָפֹנָהbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהand the sonsוְ בְּנֵיof Aaron,אַהֲרֹןthe priests,הַכֹּהֲנִיםshall splashזָרְקוּits bloodדָּמוֹagainstעַלthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַall around.סָבִיב
He shall cutוְנִתַּחitאֹתוֹinto its pieces,לִנְתָחָיוwith its headוְ רֹאשׁוֹand its suet,וְ פִּדְרוֹand the priestהַכֹּהֵןshall arrangeוְעָרַךְthemאֹתָםonעַלthe woodהָעֵצִיםthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe fireהָאֵשׁthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
The entrailsוְהַקֶּרֶבand the legsוְהַכְּרָעַיִםhe shall washיִרְחַץin water,בַּמָּיִםand the priestהַכֹּהֵןshall presentוְהִקְרִיבall of itהַכֹּלand offer it up in smokeוְהִקְטִירon the altar;הַמִּזְבֵּחָהit isהוּאa burnt offering,עֹלָהa fire offering,אִשֵּׁהa pleasingנִיחֹחַaromaרֵיחַto YHWH.לַיהוָה
And ifוְאִםhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹto YHWHלַיהוָהis a burnt offeringעֹלָהfrom the birds,מִן הָעוֹףhe shall presentוְהִקְרִיבhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹfrom the turtledovesמִן הַתֹּרִיםorאוֹfrom the youngמִן בְּנֵיpigeons.הַיּוֹנָה
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall bringוְהִקְרִיבitוֹtoאֶלthe altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחַwring offוּמָלַקits head,רֹאשׁוֹand offer it up in smokeוְהִקְטִירon the altar;הַמִּזְבֵּחָהand its bloodדָמוֹshall be drained outוְנִמְצָהonעַלthe wallקִירof the altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
He shall removeוְהֵסִירits cropמֻרְאָתוֹwith its feathersבְּנֹצָתָהּand throwוְהִשְׁלִיךְitאֹתָהּbesideאֵצֶלthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַon the east side,קֵדְמָהintoאֶלthe placeמְקוֹםof the ashes.הַדָּשֶׁן
He shall tearוְשִׁסַּעitאֹתוֹopen by its wingsבִכְנָפָיו—he shall notלֹאdivide it—יַבְדִּילand the priestהַכֹּהֵןshall offer up in smokeוְהִקְטִירitאֹתוֹon the altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחָהonעַלthe woodהָעֵצִיםthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe fire;הָאֵשׁit isהוּאa burnt offering,עֹלָהa fire offering,אִשֵּׁהa pleasingנִיחֹחַaromaרֵיחַto YHWH.לַיהוָה
