Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺa leperλεπρὸςcameπροσελθὼνand was bowing down beforeπροσεκύνειhim,αὐτῷsaying,λέγων“Lord,Κύριεifἐὰνyou are willing,θέλῃςyou canδύνασαίmakeκαθαρίσαιmeμεclean.”καθαρίσαι
Andκαὶstretching outἐκτείναςhis hand,τὴν χεῖραhe touchedἥψατοhim,αὐτοῦsaying,λέγων“I am willing;Θέλωbe made clean.”καθαρίσθητιAndκαὶat onceεὐθέωςhisαὐτοῦleprosyἡ λέπραwas cleansed.ἐκαθαρίσθη
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“See thatὍραyou tellεἴπῃςno one;μηδενὶbutἀλλὰgo,ὕπαγεshowδεῖξονyourselfσεαυτὸνto the priest,τῷ ἱερεῖandκαὶofferπροσένεγκονthe giftτὸ δῶρονthatὃMosesΜωϋσῆςcommanded,προσέταξενasεἰςa testimonyμαρτύριονto them.”αὐτοῖς
When he had enteredΕἰσελθόντος αὐτοῦCapernaum,εἰς Καφαρναοὺμa centurionἑκατόνταρχοςcameπροσῆλθενto him,αὐτῷpleading withπαρακαλῶνhimαὐτὸν
andκαὶsaying,λέγων“Lord,Κύριεmyμουservantὁ παῖςis lyingβέβληταιatἐνhomeτῇ οἰκίᾳparalyzed,παραλυτικόςterriblyδεινῶςtormented.”βασανιζόμενος
Andκαὶhe saysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“IἘγὼwill comeἐλθὼνand healθεραπεύσωhim.”αὐτόν
Andκαὶthe centurionὁ ἑκατόνταρχοςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,ἔφη“Lord,ΚύριεI amεἰμὶnotοὐκworthyἱκανὸςto have you comeἵνα εἰσέλθῃςunderὑπὸmyμουroof;τὴν στέγηνbutἀλλὰonlyμόνονsayεἰπὲa word,λόγῳandκαὶmyμουservantὁ παῖςwill be healed.ἰαθήσεται
ForγὰρIἐγὼtooκαὶamεἰμιa manἄνθρωπόςunderὑπὸauthority,ἐξουσίανhavingἔχωνsoldiersστρατιώταςunderὑπ’me;ἐμαυτὸνandκαὶI sayλέγωto this one,τούτῳ‘Go,’Πορεύθητιandκαὶhe goes;πορεύεταιandκαὶto another,ἄλλῳ‘Come,’Ἔρχουandκαὶhe comes;ἔρχεταιandκαὶto myμουslave,τῷ δούλῳ‘DoΠοίησονthis,’τοῦτοandκαὶhe does it.”ποιεῖ
Hearing this,ἀκούσαςJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςwas amazedἐθαύμασενandκαὶsaidεἶπενto those who were following,τοῖς ἀκολουθοῦσιν“TrulyἈμὴνI tellλέγωyou,ὑμῖνwithπαρ’no oneοὐδενὶinἐνIsraelτῷ Ἰσραὴλhave I foundεὗρονsuchτοσαύτηνfaith.πίστιν
AndδὲI tellλέγωyouὑμῖνthatὅτιmanyπολλοὶwill comeἥξουσινfromἀπὸeastἀνατολῶνandκαὶwestδυσμῶνandκαὶsit at tableἀνακλιθήσονταιwithμετὰAbrahamἈβραὰμandκαὶIsaacἸσαὰκandκαὶJacobἸακὼβinἐνthe kingdomτῇ βασιλείᾳof heaven,τῶν οὐρανῶν
butδὲthe sonsοἱ υἱοὶof the kingdomτῆς βασιλείαςwill be thrown outἐκβληθήσονταιintoεἰςthe outerτὸ ἐξώτερονdarkness;τὸ σκότοςthereἐκεῖwill beἔσταιweepingὁ κλαυθμὸςandκαὶgnashingὁ βρυγμὸςof teeth.”τῶν ὀδόντων
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto the centurion,τῷ ἑκατοντάρχῃ“Go;Ὕπαγεasὡςyou have believed,ἐπίστευσαςlet it be doneγενηθήτωfor you.”σοιAndκαὶthe servantὁ παῖςwas healedἰάθηinἐνthatἐκείνῃhour.τῇ ὥρᾳ
AndΚαὶcomingἐλθὼνintoεἰςPeter’sΠέτρουhouse,τὴν οἰκίανJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsawεἶδενhisαὐτοῦmother-in-lawτὴν πενθερὰνlying in bedβεβλημένηνandκαὶsick with a fever.πυρέσσουσαν
Andκαὶhe touchedἥψατοherαὐτῆςhand,τῆς χειρὸςandκαὶthe feverὁ πυρετόςleftἀφῆκενher;αὐτὴνandκαὶshe got upἠγέρθηandκαὶbegan to serveδιηκόνειhim.αὐτῷ
When eveningὈψίαςcame,γενομένηςthey broughtπροσήνεγκανto himαὐτῷmanyπολλούςwho were possessed by demons;δαιμονιζομένουςandκαὶhe drove outἐξέβαλενthe spiritsτὰ πνεύματαwith a word,λόγῳandκαὶhealedἐθεράπευσενallπάνταςwhoτοὺςwere ill,κακῶς ἔχοντας
so thatὅπωςwhatτὸwas spokenῥηθὲνthroughδιὰIsaiahἨσαΐουthe prophetτοῦ προφήτουmight be fulfilled,πληρωθῇwhen hesays,λέγοντος“He himselfΑὐτὸςtookἔλαβενourἡμῶνweaknessesτὰς ἀσθενείαςandκαὶcarriedἐβάστασενourdiseases.”τὰς νόσους
NowδὲseeingἸδὼνlargeπολλοὺςcrowdsὄχλουςaroundπερὶhim,αὐτὸνJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςgave ordersἐκέλευσενto go awayἀπελθεῖνtoεἰςthe other side.τὸ πέραν
Andκαὶaεἷςscribeγραμματεὺςcame upπροσελθὼνand saidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Teacher,ΔιδάσκαλεI will followἀκολουθήσωyouσοιwhereverὅπου ἐὰνyou go.”ἀπέρχῃ
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“The foxesΑἱ ἀλώπεκεςhaveἔχουσινholes,φωλεοὺςandκαὶthe birdsτὰ πετεινὰof the skyτοῦ οὐρανοῦhavenests,κατασκηνώσειςbutδὲthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουhasἔχειnowhereοὐκ ποῦto layκλίνῃhis head.”τὴν κεφαλὴν
Anotherἕτεροςof the disciplesτῶν μαθητῶνsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Lord,Κύριεletἐπίτρεψόνmeμοιfirstπρῶτονgoἀπελθεῖνandκαὶburyθάψαιmyμουfather.”τὸν πατέρα
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“FollowἈκολούθειme,μοιandκαὶletἄφεςthe deadτοὺς νεκροὺςburyθάψαιtheir ownτοὺς ἑαυτῶνdead.”νεκρούς
AndΚαὶwhen he gotἐμβάντι αὐτῷintoεἰςa boat,πλοῖονhisαὐτοῦdisciplesοἱ μαθηταὶfollowedἠκολούθησανhim.αὐτῷ
Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺa greatμέγαςshakingσεισμὸςaroseἐγένετοonἐνthe sea,τῇ θαλάσσῃso thatὥστεthe boatτὸ πλοῖονwas being coveredκαλύπτεσθαιbyὑπὸthe waves;τῶν κυμάτωνbutδὲheαὐτὸςwas sleeping.ἐκάθευδεν
Andκαὶthey cameπροσελθόντεςand wokeἤγειρανhim,αὐτὸνsaying,λέγοντες“Lord,Κύριεsave us;σῶσονwe are perishing!”ἀπολλύμεθα
Andκαὶhe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“WhyΤίare youἐστεafraid,δειλοίyou of little faith?”ὀλιγόπιστοιThenτότεhe got upἐγερθεὶςand rebukedἐπετίμησενthe windsτοῖς ἀνέμοιςandκαὶthe sea,τῇ θαλάσσῃandκαὶthere wasἐγένετοa greatμεγάληcalm.γαλήνη
Andδὲthe menοἱ ἄνθρωποιwere amazed,ἐθαύμασανsaying,λέγοντες“What sort of manΠοταπόςisἐστινthis,οὗτοςthatὅτιevenκαὶthe windsοἱ ἄνεμοιandκαὶthe seaἡ θάλασσαobeyὑπακούουσινhim?”αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶwhen he cameἐλθόντος αὐτοῦtoεἰςthe other side,τὸ πέρανtoεἰςthe regionτὴν χώρανof the Gadarenes,τῶν Γαδαρηνῶνtwoδύοmen possessed by demonsδαιμονιζόμενοιmetὑπήντησανhim,αὐτῷcoming outἐξερχόμενοιofἐκthe tombs,τῶν μνημείωνsoλίανviolentχαλεποὶthatὥστεno oneμὴ τινὰcouldἰσχύεινpassπαρελθεῖνalongδιὰthatἐκείνηςroad.τῆς ὁδοῦ
Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺthey cried out,ἔκραξανsaying,λέγοντες“WhatΤίhave weἡμῖνto do withκαὶyou,σοίSonυἱὲof God?τοῦ θεοῦHave you comeἦλθεςhereὧδεto tormentβασανίσαιusἡμᾶςbeforeπρὸthe time?”καιροῦ
Nowδὲat a distanceμακρὰνfromἀπ’themαὐτῶνthere wasἦνa herdἀγέληof manyπολλῶνpigsχοίρωνfeeding.βοσκομένη
Andδὲthe demonsοἱ δαίμονεςwere beggingπαρεκάλουνhim,αὐτὸνsaying,λέγοντες“IfΕἰyou driveἐκβάλλειςusἡμᾶςout,ἐκβάλλειςsendἀπόστειλονusἡμᾶςintoεἰςthe herdτὴν ἀγέληνof pigs.”τῶν χοίρων
Andκαὶhe saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“Go.”ὙπάγετεSoδὲtheyοἱcame outἐξελθόντεςand wentἀπῆλθονintoεἰςthe pigs;τοὺς χοίρουςandκαὶlook,ἰδοὺthe wholeπᾶσαherdἡ ἀγέληrushedὥρμησενdownκατὰthe steep bankτοῦ κρημνοῦintoεἰςthe seaτὴν θάλασσανandκαὶdiedἀπέθανονinἐνthe waters.τοῖς ὕδασιν
Andδὲthose who were tending themοἱ βόσκοντεςfled,ἔφυγονandκαὶgoing awayἀπελθόντεςintoεἰςthe town,τὴν πόλινthey reportedἀπήγγειλανeverything,πάνταincludingκαὶwhat had happenedτὰto those possessed by demons.τῶν δαιμονιζομένων
Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺthe wholeπᾶσαtownἡ πόλιςcame outἐξῆλθενtoεἰςmeetὑπάντησινJesus;τῷ Ἰησοῦandκαὶwhen they sawἰδόντεςhim,αὐτὸνthey begged himπαρεκάλεσανtoὅπωςmove awayμεταβῇfromἀπὸtheirαὐτῶνregion.τῶν ὁρίων
