Andκαὶlook,ἰδούsomeτινεςof the scribesτῶν γραμματέωνsaidεἶπανtoἐνthemselves,ἑαυτοῖς“This manΟὗτοςis blaspheming.”βλασφημεῖ
AndκαὶJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςknowingεἰδὼςtheirαὐτῶνthoughts,τὰς ἐνθυμήσειςsaid,εἶπεν“WhyἹνατίare you thinkingἐνθυμεῖσθεevil thingsπονηρὰinἐνyourὑμῶνhearts?ταῖς καρδίαις
Forγάρwhichτίisἐστινeasier,εὐκοπώτερονto say,εἰπεῖν‘Yourσουsinsαἱ ἁμαρτίαιare forgiven,’Ἀφίενταίorἢto say,εἰπεῖν‘Get upἜγειρεandκαὶwalk’?περιπάτει
Butδὲso thatἵναyou may knowεἰδῆτεthatὅτιthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουhasἔχειauthorityἐξουσίανonἐπὶearthτῆς γῆςto forgiveἀφιέναιsins”—ἁμαρτίαςthenτότεhe saysλέγειto the paralytic—τῷ παραλυτικῷ“Get up,Ἐγερθεὶςpick upἆρόνyourσουbed,τὴν κλίνηνandκαὶgoὕπαγεtoεἰςyourσουhome.”τὸν οἶκόν
Andκαὶhe got upἐγερθεὶςand went awayἀπῆλθενtoεἰςhisαὐτοῦhome.τὸν οἶκον
Seeing it,ἰδόντεςthe crowdsοἱ ὄχλοιwere afraidἐφοβήθησανandκαὶglorifiedἐδόξασανGod,τὸν θεὸνwhoτὸνhad givenδόνταsuchτοιαύτηνauthorityἐξουσίανto human beings.τοῖς ἀνθρώποις
AndΚαὶpassing onπαράγωνfrom there,ἐκεῖθενJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsawεἶδενa manἄνθρωπονnamedλεγόμενονMatthewΜαθθαῖονsittingκαθήμενονatἐπὶthe tax booth;τὸ τελώνιονandκαὶhe saysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“FollowἈκολούθειme.”μοιAndκαὶhe got upἀναστὰςand followedἠκολούθησενhim.αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶit happened,ἐγένετοas heαὐτοῦwas reclining at tableἀνακειμένουinἐνthe house,τῇ οἰκίᾳthatκαὶlook,ἰδοὺmanyπολλοὶtax collectorsτελῶναιandκαὶsinnersἁμαρτωλοὶcameἐλθόντεςand were reclining withσυνανέκειντοJesusτῷ Ἰησοῦandκαὶhis disciples.τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶseeing this,ἰδόντεςthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιwere sayingἔλεγονto his disciples,τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ“WhyΔιὰ τίdoes yourὑμῶνteacherὁ διδάσκαλοςeatἐσθίειwithμετὰthe tax collectorsτῶν τελωνῶνandκαὶsinners?”ἁμαρτωλῶν
Butδὲhe,ὁhearing it,ἀκούσαςsaid,εἶπεν“The healthyοἱ ἰσχύοντεςhaveἔχουσινnoΟὐneedχρείανof a doctor,ἰατροῦbutἀλλὰthose whoοἱare ill.κακῶς ἔχοντες
Soδὲgoπορευθέντεςand learnμάθετεwhatτίthis means:ἐστιν‘I desireθέλωmercy,Ἔλεοςandκαὶnotοὐsacrifice.’θυσίανForγὰρI did notοὐcomeἦλθονto callκαλέσαιthe righteous,δικαίουςbutἀλλὰsinners.”ἁμαρτωλούς
ThenΤότεthe disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶof JohnἸωάννουcomeπροσέρχονταιto him,αὐτῷsaying,λέγοντες“WhyΔιὰ τίdo weἡμεῖςandκαὶthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιfastνηστεύομενoften,πολλάbutδὲyourσουdisciplesοἱ μαθηταίdo notοὐfast?”νηστεύουσιν
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“The wedding guestsοἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ νυμφῶνοςcannotΜὴ δύνανταιmournπενθεῖνas long asἐφ’ ὅσονthe bridegroomὁ νυμφίοςisἐστινwithμετ’them,αὐτῶνcan they?ΜὴButδὲdaysἡμέραιwill comeἐλεύσονταιwhenὅτανthe bridegroomὁ νυμφίοςis taken awayἀπαρθῇfromἀπ’them,αὐτῶνandκαὶthenτότεthey will fast.νηστεύσουσιν
Andδὲno oneοὐδεὶςputsἐπιβάλλειa patchἐπίβλημαof unshrunkἀγνάφουclothῥάκουςonἐπὶan oldπαλαιῷcloak;ἱματίῳforγὰρthe patchτὸ πλήρωμα αὐτοῦpulls awayαἴρειfromἀπὸthe cloak,τοῦ ἱματίουandκαὶa worseχεῖρονtearσχίσμαresults.γίνεται
Norοὐδὲdo people putβάλλουσινnewνέονwineοἶνονintoεἰςoldπαλαιούςwineskins;ἀσκοὺςotherwiseεἰ δὲ μή γεthe wineskinsοἱ ἀσκοίburst,ῥήγνυνταιandκαὶthe wineὁ οἶνοςpours out,ἐκχεῖταιandκαὶthe wineskinsοἱ ἀσκοὶare destroyed;ἀπόλλυνταιbutἀλλὰthey putβάλλουσινnewνέονwineοἶνονintoεἰςfreshκαινούςwineskins,ἀσκοὺςandκαὶbothἀμφότεροιare preserved.”συντηροῦνται
While heαὐτοῦwas sayingλαλοῦντοςthese thingsΤαῦταto them,αὐτοῖςlook,ἰδοὺaεἷςrulerἄρχωνcameἐλθὼνand was bowing down beforeπροσεκύνειhim,αὐτῷsaying,λέγων“MyμουdaughterἩ θυγάτηρhas justἄρτιdied;ἐτελεύτησενbutἀλλὰcomeἐλθὼνand layἐπίθεςyourσουhandτὴν χεῖράonἐπ’her,αὐτήνandκαὶshe will live.”ζήσεται
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςgot upἐγερθεὶςand was followingἠκολούθειhim,αὐτῷandκαὶso didhis disciples.οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ
AndΚαὶlook,ἰδοὺa womanγυνὴwho had been suffering from bleedingαἱμορροοῦσαfor twelveδώδεκαyearsἔτηcame upπροσελθοῦσαbehind himὄπισθενand touchedἥψατοthe fringeτοῦ κρασπέδουof hisαὐτοῦcloak;τοῦ ἱματίου
forγὰρshe was sayingἔλεγενtoἐνherself,ἑαυτῇ“IfἘὰνI onlyμόνονtouchἅψωμαιhisαὐτοῦcloak,τοῦ ἱματίουI will get well.”σωθήσομαι
Jesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςturningστραφεὶςandκαὶseeingἰδὼνher,αὐτὴνsaid,εἶπεν“Take courage,Θάρσειdaughter;θύγατερyourσουfaithἡ πίστιςhas madeσέσωκένyouσεwell.”σέσωκένAndκαὶthe womanἡ γυνὴwas made wellἐσώθηfromἀπὸthatἐκείνηςhour.τῆς ὥρας
AndκαὶJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςcomingἐλθὼνintoεἰςthe ruler’sτοῦ ἄρχοντοςhouseτὴν οἰκίανandκαὶseeingἰδὼνthe flute playersτοὺς αὐλητὰςandκαὶthe crowdτὸν ὄχλονin an uproar,θορυβούμενον
said,ἔλεγεν“Go away,Ἀναχωρεῖτεforγὰρthe girlτὸ κοράσιονhas notοὐdied,ἀπέθανενbutἀλλὰis sleeping.”καθεύδειAndκαὶthey were laughing atκατεγέλωνhim.αὐτοῦ
Butδὲwhenὅτεthe crowdὁ ὄχλοςhad been put out,ἐξεβλήθηhe went inεἰσελθὼνand took hold ofἐκράτησενherαὐτῆςhand,τῆς χειρὸςandκαὶthe girlτὸ κοράσιονgot up.ἠγέρθη
Andκαὶthisαὕτηreportἡ φήμηwent outἐξῆλθενintoεἰςallὅληνthatἐκείνηνland.τὴν γῆν
AndΚαὶas Jesusτῷ Ἰησοῦpassed onπαράγοντιfrom there,ἐκεῖθενtwoδύοblind menτυφλοὶfollowedἠκολούθησανhim,αὐτῷcrying outκράζοντεςandκαὶsaying,λέγοντες“Have mercy onἘλέησονus,ἡμᾶςSonυἱὲof David!”Δαυίδ
When he had goneἐλθόντιintoεἰςthe house,τὴν οἰκίανthe blind menοἱ τυφλοίcameπροσῆλθονto him,αὐτῷandκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“Do you believeΠιστεύετεthatὅτιI am ableδύναμαιto doποιῆσαιthis?”τοῦτοThey sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“Yes,ΝαίLord.”κύριε
Thenτότεhe touchedἥψατοtheirαὐτῶνeyes,τῶν ὀφθαλμῶνsaying,λέγων“According toΚατὰyourὑμῶνfaithτὴν πίστινlet it be doneγενηθήτωfor you.”ὑμῖν
Andκαὶtheirαὐτῶνeyesοἱ ὀφθαλμοίwere opened.ἠνεῴχθησανAndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsternly warnedἐνεβριμήθηthem,αὐτοῖςsaying,λέγων“See thatὉρᾶτεno oneμηδεὶςknows about it.”γινωσκέτω
Butδὲtheyοἱwent outἐξελθόντεςand spread the news aboutδιεφήμισανhimαὐτὸνinἐνallὅλῃthatἐκείνῃland.τῇ γῇ
As theyΑὐτῶνwere going out,ἐξερχομένωνlook,ἰδοὺpeople broughtπροσήνεγκανto himαὐτῷa muteκωφὸνmanἄνθρωπονpossessed by a demon.δαιμονιζόμενον
Andκαὶwhen the demonτοῦ δαιμονίουhad been driven out,ἐκβληθέντοςthe mute manὁ κωφόςspoke;ἐλάλησενandκαὶthe crowdsοἱ ὄχλοιwere amazed,ἐθαύμασανsaying,λέγοντες“NeverΟὐδέποτεhas anything been seenἐφάνηlike thisοὕτωςinἐνIsrael!”τῷ Ἰσραήλ
Butδὲthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιwere saying,ἔλεγον“ByἘνthe rulerτῷ ἄρχοντιof the demonsτῶν δαιμονίωνhe drives outἐκβάλλειthe demons.”τὰ δαιμόνια
AndΚαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςwent aroundπεριῆγενallπάσαςthe townsτὰς πόλειςandκαὶthe villages,τὰς κώμαςteachingδιδάσκωνinἐνtheir synagoguesταῖς συναγωγαῖς αὐτῶνandκαὶproclaimingκηρύσσωνthe good newsτὸ εὐαγγέλιονof the kingdomτῆς βασιλείαςandκαὶhealingθεραπεύωνeveryπᾶσανdiseaseνόσονandκαὶeveryπᾶσανsickness.μαλακίαν
SeeingἸδὼνthe crowds,τοὺς ὄχλουςhe was moved with compassionἐσπλαγχνίσθηforπερὶthem,αὐτῶνbecauseὅτιthey wereἦσανharassedἐσκυλμένοιandκαὶcast down,ἐρριμμένοιlikeὡσεὶsheepπρόβαταthat do notμὴhaveἔχονταa shepherd.ποιμένα
Thenτότεhe saysλέγειto his disciples,τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ“The harvestὉ θερισμὸςisplentiful,πολύςbutδὲthe workersοἱ ἐργάταιarefew;ὀλίγοι
soοὖνaskδεήθητεthe Lordτοῦ κυρίουof the harvestτοῦ θερισμοῦtoὅπωςsend outἐκβάλῃworkersἐργάταςintoεἰςhisαὐτοῦharvest.”τὸν θερισμὸν
