Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

“To be made an imprecation” can be understood to mean that her name would be used in cursing. “That the thigh sag and the belly swell” may describe harm to the body that would keep her from having children (compare 5:28, where the innocent woman “shall conceive offspring”).

The context

22may this water that brings a curse go into your bowels to make the belly swell and the thigh sag.’ And the woman shall say, ‘Amen, amen.’
