Hebrews 1:1–3
God spoke through the prophets and, in these last days, through the Son, the exact imprint of his being
Study it word by word1In many portions and in many ways God, having spoken long ago to the fathers by the prophets,
2at the end of these days has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he also made the ages.
3He, being the radiance of his glory and the exact imprint of his being, and sustaining all things by the word of his power, having made purification for sins by himself, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
In its context
…
4having become as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
5For to which of the angels did he ever say: You are my Son; today I have begotten you? And again: I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me?
