Forכִּיhe has inclinedהִטָּהhis earאָזְנוֹto me,לִיand in my daysוּבְיָמַיI will call.אֶקְרָא
The cordsחֶבְלֵיof deathמָוֶתencompassed me,אֲפָפוּנִיand the distressesוּמְצָרֵיof Sheolשְׁאוֹלfound me;מְצָאוּנִיdistressצָרָהand sorrowוְיָגוֹןI found.אֶמְצָא
And on the nameוּבְשֵׁםof YHWHיְהוָהI called:אֶקְרָא“I beg you,אָנָּהYHWH,יְהוָהlet my soulנַפְשִׁיescape.”מַלְּטָה
Gracious isחַנּוּןYHWH,יְהֹוָהand righteous,וְצַדִּיקand our Elohimוֵאלֹהֵינוּhas compassion.מְרַחֵם
YHWHיְהֹוָהkeepsשֹׁמֵרthe simple;פְּתָאיִםI was brought low,דַּלּוֹתִיand he saved me.וְלִי יְהוֹשִׁיעַ
Return,שׁוּבִיmy soul,נַפְשִׁיto your rest,לִמְנוּחָיְכִיforכִּיYHWHיְהוָהhas dealt well with you.גָּמַל עָלָיְכִי
Forכִּיyou have rescuedחִלַּצְתָּmy soulנַפְשִׁיfrom death,מִמָּוֶתmy eyesעֵינִיfrom tears,מִן דִּמְעָהmy feetרַגְלִיfrom stumbling.מִדֶּחִי
I will walkאֶתְהַלֵּךְbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהin the landsבְּאַרְצוֹתof the living.הַחַיִּים
I believed,הֶאֱמַנְתִּיeven whenכִּיI said,אֲדַבֵּר“Iאֲנִיam greatly afflicted.”עָנִיתִי מְאֹד
Iאֲנִיsaidאָמַרְתִּיin my alarm,בְחָפְזִי“Everyכָּלhuman beingהָאָדָםis a liar.”כֹּזֵב
Whatמָהshall I returnאָשִׁיבto YHWHלַיהוָהfor allכָּלhis benefitsתַּגְמוּלוֹהִיtoward me?עָלָי
The cupכּוֹסof salvationsיְשׁוּעוֹתI will lift up,אֶשָּׂאand on the nameוּבְשֵׁםof YHWHיְהוָהI will call.אֶקְרָא
My vowsנְדָרַיto YHWHלַיהוָהI will pay,אֲשַׁלֵּםin the presenceנֶגְדָהnowנָּאof allלְכָלhis people,עַמּוֹ
Preciousיָקָרin the eyesבְּעֵינֵיof YHWHיְהוָהis the deathהַמָּוְתָהof his faithful ones.לַחֲסִידָיו
I beg you,אָנָּהYHWH,יְהוָהforכִּיI amאֲנִיyour servant;עַבְדֶּךָI amאֲנִיyour servant,עַבְדְּךָthe sonבֶּןof your female servant;אֲמָתֶךָyou have loosedפִּתַּחְתָּmy bonds.לְמוֹסֵרָי
To youלְךָI will sacrificeאֶזְבַּחa sacrificeזֶבַחof thanksgiving,תּוֹדָהand on the nameוּבְשֵׁםof YHWHיְהוָהI will call.אֶקְרָא
