A prayerתְּפִלָּהof David.לְדָוִדInclineהַטֵּהyour ear,אָזְנְךָYHWH;יְהוָהanswer me,עֲנֵנִיforכִּיIאָנִיam afflictedעָנִיand needy.וְאֶבְיוֹן
Guardשָׁמְרָהmy soul,נַפְשִׁיforכִּיI amאָנִיfaithful;חָסִידyou,אַתָּהmy Elohim,אֱלֹהַיsaveהוֹשַׁעyour servantעַבְדְּךָwho trustsהַבּוֹטֵחַin you.אֵלֶיךָ
Show me favor,חָנֵּנִיAdonai,אֲדֹנָיforכִּיto youאֵלֶיךָI callאֶקְרָאallכָּלthe day.הַיּוֹם
Gladdenשַׂמֵּחַthe soulנֶפֶשׁof your servant,עַבְדֶּךָforכִּיto you,אֵלֶיךָAdonai,אֲדֹנָיI lift upאֶשָּׂאmy soul.נַפְשִׁי
Forכִּיyou,אַתָּהAdonai,אֲדֹנָיare goodטוֹבand forgiving,וְסַלָּחand aboundingוְרַבin loyal loveחֶסֶדto allלְכָלwho call on you.קֹרְאֶיךָ
Give ear,הַאֲזִינָהYHWH,יְהוָהto my prayer;תְּפִלָּתִיand attendוְהַקְשִׁיבָהto the voiceבְּקוֹלof my supplications.תַּחֲנוּנוֹתָי
In the dayבְּיוֹםof my distressצָרָתִיI will call on you,אֶקְרָאֶךָּforכִּיyou will answer me.תַעֲנֵנִי
There is noneאֵיןlike youכָּמוֹךָamong the gods,בָאֱלֹהִיםAdonai,אֲדֹנָיand nothingוְאֵיןis like your works.כְּמַעֲשֶׂיךָ
Allכָּלthe nationsגּוֹיִםthatאֲשֶׁרyou have madeעָשִׂיתָwill comeיָבוֹאוּand bow downוְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּbefore you,לְפָנֶיךָAdonai,אֲדֹנָיand they will honorוִיכַבְּדוּyour name.לִשְׁמֶךָ
Forכִּיyou areאַתָּהgreatגָדוֹלand one who doesוְעֹשֵׂהwonders;נִפְלָאוֹתyouאַתָּהare Elohim,אֱלֹהִיםyou alone.לְבַדֶּךָ
Teach me,הוֹרֵנִיYHWH,יְהוָהyour way;דַּרְכֶּךָI will walkאֲהַלֵּךְin your truth;בַּאֲמִתֶּךָuniteיַחֵדmy heartלְבָבִיto fearלְיִרְאָהyour name.שְׁמֶךָ
I will give you thanks,אוֹדְךָAdonaiאֲדֹנָיmy Elohim,אֱלֹהַיwith allבְּכָלmy heart,לְבָבִיand I will honorוַאֲכַבְּדָהyour nameשִׁמְךָforever.לְעוֹלָם
Forכִּיyour loyal loveחַסְדְּךָis greatגָּדוֹלtoward me,עָלָיand you have deliveredוְהִצַּלְתָּmy soulנַפְשִׁיfrom the lowestמִ תַּחְתִּיָּהSheol.שְּׁאוֹל
Elohim,אֱלֹהִיםinsolent menזֵדִיםhave risenקָמוּagainst me,עָלַיand a communityוַעֲדַתof tyrantsעָרִיצִיםseeksבִּקְשׁוּmy soul;נַפְשִׁיand they have notוְלֹאset youשָׂמוּךָbefore them.לְנֶגְדָּם
But you,וְאַתָּהAdonai,אֲדֹנָיare an Elאֵלmercifulרַחוּםand gracious,וְחַנּוּןslowאֶרֶךְto anger,אַפַּיִםand aboundingוְרַבin loyal loveחֶסֶדand faithfulness.וֶאֱמֶת
Turnפְּנֵהto meאֵלַיand show me favor;וְחָנֵּנִיgiveתְּנָהyour strengthעֻזְּךָto your servant,לְעַבְדֶּךָand saveוְהוֹשִׁיעָהthe sonלְבֶןof your maidservant.אֲמָתֶךָ
Performעֲשֵׂהfor meעִמִּיa signאוֹתfor good,לְטוֹבָהso thatוְthose who hate meשֹׂנְאַיmay seeיִרְאוּand be put to shame,וְיֵבֹשׁוּbecauseכִּיyou,אַתָּהYHWH,יְהוָהhave helped meעֲזַרְתַּנִיand comforted me.וְנִחַמְתָּנִי
