And he builtוַיִּבֶןthe houseאֶת בֵּיתof the Forestיַעַרof Lebanon:הַלְּבָנוֹןa hundredמֵאָהcubitsאַמָּהits length,אָרְכּוֹand fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁיםcubitsאַמָּהits width,רָחְבּוֹand thirtyוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםcubitsאַמָּהits height,קוֹמָתוֹonעַלfourאַרְבָּעָהrowsטוּרֵיof pillarsעַמּוּדֵיof cedar,אֲרָזִיםwith beamsוּכְרֻתוֹתof cedarאֲרָזִיםonעַלthe pillars.הָעַמּוּדִים
And it was roofedוְסָפֻןwith cedarבָּאֶרֶזabove,מִמַּעַלoverעַלthe beamsהַצְּלָעֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe pillars:הָעַמּוּדִיםfortyאַרְבָּעִיםand five,וַחֲמִשָּׁהfifteenחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂרto the row.הַטּוּר
And there were framesוּשְׁקֻפִיםin threeשְׁלֹשָׁהrows,טוּרִיםand windowוּמֶחֱזָהtoאֶלwindow,מֶחֱזָהthreeשָׁלֹשׁtimes.פְּעָמִים
And allוְכָלthe entrancesהַפְּתָחִיםand the doorpostsוְהַמְּזוּזוֹתwere square,רְבֻעִיםwith frame;שָׁקֶףand opposite,וּמוּלwindowמֶחֱזָהtoאֶלwindow,מֶחֱזָהthreeשָׁלֹשׁtimes.פְּעָמִים
And the porticoוְאֵת אוּלָםof the Pillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםhe made:עָשָׂהfiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםcubitsאַמָּהits length,אָרְכּוֹand thirtyוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםcubitsאַמָּהits width;רָחְבּוֹand a porticoוְאוּלָםin front ofעַל פְּנֵיthem,הֶםwith pillarsוְעַמֻּדִיםand a canopyוְעָבin front ofעַל פְּנֵיthem.הֶם
And the porticoוְאוּלָםof the Throne,הַכִּסֵּאwhereאֲשֶׁר שָׁםhe would judge,יִשְׁפָּטthe porticoאֻלָםof Judgment,הַמִּשְׁפָּטhe made;עָשָׂהand it was roofedוְסָפוּןwith cedarבָּאֶרֶזfromמֵthe floorהַקַּרְקַעtoעַדthe floor.הַקַּרְקָע
And his houseוּבֵיתוֹwhereאֲשֶׁר שָׁםhe would live,יֵשֶׁבin the otherהָאַחֶרֶתcourtחָצֵרinsideמִבֵּיתthe portico,לָאוּלָםwasהָיָהlike thisכַּ הַזֶּהwork.מַּעֲשֶׂהAnd a houseוּבַיִתhe madeיַעֲשֶׂהfor the daughterלְבַתof Pharaoh,פַּרְעֹהwhomאֲשֶׁרSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהhad taken,לָקַחlikeכָּthisהַזֶּהportico.אוּלָם
Allכָּלtheseאֵלֶּהwere of costlyיְקָרֹתstones,אֲבָנִיםby the measuresכְּמִדֹּתof hewn stone,גָּזִיתsawnמְגֹרָרוֹתwith the sawבַּמְּגֵרָהinsideמִבַּיִתand outside,וּמִחוּץfrom the foundationוּמִמַּסָּדtoעַדthe copings,הַטְּפָחוֹתand from outsideוּמִחוּץtoעַדthe greatהַגְּדוֹלָהcourt.הֶחָצֵר
And the foundationוּמְיֻסָּדwas of costlyיְקָרוֹתstones,אֲבָנִיםgreatגְּדֹלוֹתstones,אֲבָנִיםstonesאַבְנֵיof tenעֶשֶׂרcubitsאַמּוֹתand stonesוְאַבְנֵיof eightשְׁמֹנֶהcubits.אַמּוֹת
And aboveוּמִלְמַעְלָהwere costlyיְקָרוֹתstonesאֲבָנִיםby the measuresכְּמִדּוֹתof hewn stone,גָּזִיתand cedar.וָאָרֶז
And the greatוְ הַגְּדוֹלָהcourtחָצֵרall aroundסָבִיבhad threeשְׁלֹשָׁהrowsטוּרִיםof hewn stoneגָּזִיתand a rowוְטוּרof beamsכְּרֻתֹתof cedar,אֲרָזִיםas also forוְלַthe innerהַפְּנִימִיתcourtחֲצַרof the houseבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהand the porticoוּלְאֻלָםof the house.הַבָּיִת
And Kingוַ הַמֶּלֶךְSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהsentיִּשְׁלַחand tookוַיִּקַּחHiramאֶת חִירָםfrom Tyre.מִצֹּר
Heהוּאwas the sonבֶּןof a widowאִשָּׁה אַלְמָנָהfrom the tribeמִמַּטֵּהof Naphtali,נַפְתָּלִיand his fatherוְאָבִיוwas a manאִישׁof Tyre,צֹרִיa workerחֹרֵשׁin bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתand he was filledוַיִּמָּלֵאwith wisdomאֶת הַחָכְמָהand understandingוְאֶת הַתְּבוּנָהand knowledgeוְאֶת הַדַּעַתto doלַעֲשׂוֹתeveryכָּלworkמְלָאכָהin bronze.בַּנְּחֹשֶׁתAnd he cameוַיָּבוֹאtoאֶלKingהַמֶּלֶךְSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהand didוַיַּעַשׂallאֶת כָּלhis work.מְלַאכְתּוֹ
And he formedוַיָּצַרthe twoאֶת שְׁנֵיpillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםof bronze:נְחֹשֶׁתeighteenשְׁמֹנֶה עֶשְׂרֵהcubitsאַמָּהwas the heightקוֹמַתof the oneהָאֶחָדpillar,הָעַמּוּדand a threadוְחוּטof twelveשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵהcubitsאַמָּהwent aroundיָסֹבthe secondהַשֵּׁנִיpillar.אֶת הָעַמּוּד
And twoוּשְׁתֵּיcapitalsכֹתָרֹתhe madeעָשָׂהto putלָתֵתonעַלthe headsרָאשֵׁיof the pillars,הָעַמּוּדִיםof castמֻצַקbronze;נְחֹשֶׁתfiveחָמֵשׁcubitsאַמּוֹתwas the heightקוֹמַתof the oneהָאֶחָתcapital,הַכֹּתֶרֶתand fiveוְחָמֵשׁcubitsאַמּוֹתthe heightקוֹמַתof the secondהַשֵּׁנִיתcapital.הַכֹּתֶרֶת
There were nets,שְׂבָכִיםthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof network,שְׂבָכָהand cords,גְּדִלִיםthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof chains,שַׁרְשְׁרוֹתfor the capitalsלַכֹּתָרֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pillars:הָעַמּוּדִיםsevenשִׁבְעָהfor the oneלַ הָאֶחָתcapital,כֹּתֶרֶתand sevenוְשִׁבְעָהfor the secondלַ הַשֵּׁנִיתcapital.כֹּתֶרֶת
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe pillars,אֶת הָעַמּוּדִיםand twoוּשְׁנֵיrowsטוּרִיםall aroundסָבִיבonעַלthe oneהָאֶחָתnetהַשְּׂבָכָהto coverלְכַסּוֹתthe capitalsאֶת הַכֹּתָרֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pomegranates;הָרִמֹּנִיםand soוְכֵןhe madeעָשָׂהfor the secondלַ הַשֵּׁנִיתcapital.כֹּתֶרֶת
And the capitalsוְכֹתָרֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםwere lilyשׁוּשַׁןworkמַעֲשֵׂהin the portico,בָּאוּלָםfourאַרְבַּעcubits.אַמּוֹת
And the capitalsוְכֹתָרֹתonעַלthe twoשְׁנֵיpillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםwere alsoגַּםabove,מִמַּעַלclose toמִלְּעֻמַּתthe bellyהַבֶּטֶןthat wasאֲשֶׁרbesideלְעֵבֶרthe net;הַשְּׂבָכָהand the pomegranatesוְהָרִמּוֹנִיםwere two hundred,מָאתַיִםin rowsטֻרִיםall aroundסָבִיבonעַלthe secondהַשֵּׁנִיתcapital.הַכֹּתֶרֶת
And he set upוַיָּקֶםthe pillarsאֶת הָעַמֻּדִיםat the porticoלְאֻלָםof the temple;הַהֵיכָלand he set upוַיָּקֶםthe rightהַיְמָנִיpillarאֶת הָעַמּוּדand calledוַיִּקְרָאits nameאֶת שְׁמוֹJachin;יָכִיןand he set upוַיָּקֶםthe leftהַשְּׂמָאלִיpillarאֶת הָעַמּוּדand calledוַיִּקְרָאits nameאֶת שְׁמוֹBoaz.בֹּעַז
And onוְעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםwas lilyשׁוֹשָׁןwork.מַעֲשֵׂהAnd the workוַ מְלֶאכֶתof the pillarsהָעַמּוּדִיםwas finished.תִּתֹּם
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe Seaאֶת הַיָּםof cast metal,מוּצָקtenעֶשֶׂרcubitsבָּאַמָּהfromמִits rimשְּׂפָתוֹtoעַדits rim,שְׂפָתוֹroundעָגֹלall around,סָבִיבand fiveוְחָמֵשׁcubitsבָּאַמָּהits height;קוֹמָתוֹand a lineוְקָוof thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁיםcubitsבָּאַמָּהwent aroundיָסֹבitאֹתוֹall around.סָבִיב
And gourdsוּפְקָעִיםbelowמִתַּחַתits rimלִשְׂפָתוֹall aroundסָבִיבsurroundedסֹבְבִיםit,אֹתוֹtenעֶשֶׂרto the cubit,בָּאַמָּהencirclingמַקִּפִיםthe Seaאֶת הַיָּםall around;סָבִיבthe gourdsהַפְּקָעִיםwere in twoשְׁנֵיrows,טוּרִיםcastיְצֻקִיםin its casting.בִּיצֻקָתוֹ
It stoodעֹמֵדonעַלtwelveשְׁנֵי עָשָׂרoxen:בָּקָרthreeשְׁלֹשָׁהfacingפֹנִיםnorth,צָפוֹנָהand threeוּשְׁלֹשָׁהfacingפֹנִיםwest,יָמָּהand threeוּשְׁלֹשָׁהfacingפֹּנִיםsouth,נֶגְבָּהand threeוּשְׁלֹשָׁהfacingפֹּנִיםeast;מִזְרָחָהand the Seaוְהַיָּםwas on themעֲלֵיהֶםabove,מִלְמָעְלָהand allוְכָלtheir hindquartersאֲחֹרֵיהֶםwere inward.בָּיְתָה
And its thicknessוְעָבְיוֹwas a handbreadth,טֶפַחand its rimוּשְׂפָתוֹlike the workכְּמַעֲשֵׂהof the rimשְׂפַתof a cup,כּוֹסlike a lilyשׁוֹשָׁןblossom;פֶּרַחit heldיָכִילtwo thousandאַלְפַּיִםbaths.בַּת
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe tenעֶשֶׂרbasesאֶת הַמְּכֹנוֹתof bronze:נְחֹשֶׁתfourאַרְבַּעcubitsבָּאַמָּהwas the lengthאֹרֶךְof the oneהָאֶחָתbase,הַמְּכוֹנָהand fourוְאַרְבַּעcubitsבָּאַמָּהits width,רָחְבָּהּand threeוְשָׁלֹשׁcubitsבָּאַמָּהits height.קוֹמָתָהּ
And thisוְזֶהwas the workמַעֲשֵׂהof the base:הַמְּכוֹנָהthey hadלָהֶםpanels,מִסְגְּרֹתand panelsוּמִסְגְּרֹתwere betweenבֵּיןthe crossbars.הַשְׁלַבִּים
And onוְעַלthe panelsהַמִּסְגְּרוֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרbetweenבֵּיןthe crossbarsהַשְׁלַבִּיםwere lions,אֲרָיוֹתoxen,בָּקָרand cherubim;וּכְרוּבִיםand onוְעַלthe crossbarsהַשְׁלַבִּיםlikewise;כֵּןaboveמִמָּעַלand belowוּמִתַּחַתthe lionsלַאֲרָיוֹתand the oxenוְלַבָּקָרwere wreaths,לֹיוֹתhangingמוֹרָדwork.מַעֲשֵׂה
And fourוְאַרְבָּעָהwheelsאוֹפַנֵּיof bronzeנְחֹשֶׁתbelonged to eachלַ הָאַחַתbase,מְּכוֹנָהand axlesוְסַרְנֵיof bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתand its fourוְאַרְבָּעָהcornersפַעֲמֹתָיוhadלָהֶםsupports;כְּתֵפֹתbelowמִתַּחַתthe basinלַכִּיֹּרwere the supports,הַכְּתֵפֹתcast,יְצֻקוֹתwith wreathsלֹיוֹתbesideמֵעֵבֶרeach.אִישׁ
And its mouthוּפִיהוּinsideמִבֵּיתthe capitalלַכֹּתֶרֶתand upwardוָמַעְלָהwas a cubit;בָּאַמָּהand its mouthוּפִיהָwas round,עָגֹלthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a pedestal,כֵןa cubitאַמָּהand a half;וַחֲצִי הָאַמָּהand alsoוְגַםonעַלits mouthפִּיwere carvings;הָ מִקְלָעוֹתand their panelsוּמִסְגְּרֹתֵיהֶםwere square,מְרֻבָּעוֹתnotלֹאround.עֲגֻלּוֹת
And the fourוְאַרְבַּעַתwheelsהָאוֹפַנִּיםwere belowלְמִתַּחַתthe panels,לַמִּסְגְּרוֹתand the axlesוִידוֹתof the wheelsהָאוֹפַנִּיםwere in the base;בַּמְּכוֹנָהand the heightוְקוֹמַתof the oneהָאֶחָדwheelהָאוֹפַןwas a cubitאַמָּהand a half.וַחֲצִי הָאַמָּה
And the workוּמַעֲשֵׂהof the wheelsהָאוֹפַנִּיםwas like the workכְּמַעֲשֵׂהof the wheelאוֹפַןof a chariot:הַמֶּרְכָּבָהtheir axles,יְדוֹתָםtheir rims,וְגַבֵּיהֶםtheir spokes,וְחִשֻּׁקֵיהֶםand their hubs,וְחִשֻּׁרֵיהֶםallהַכֹּלwas cast.מוּצָק
And fourוְאַרְבַּעsupportsכְּתֵפוֹתwere atאֶלthe fourאַרְבַּעcornersפִּנּוֹתof eachהָאֶחָתbase;הַמְּכֹנָהits supportsכְּתֵפֶיהָwere of the base itself.מִן הַמְּכֹנָה
And on the topוּבְרֹאשׁof the baseהַמְּכוֹנָהwas a piecehalfחֲצִיa cubitהָאַמָּהin height,קוֹמָהroundעָגֹלall around;סָבִיבand onוְעַלthe topרֹאשׁof the baseהַמְּכֹנָהits handlesיְדֹתֶיהָand its panelsוּמִסְגְּרֹתֶיהָwere of it.מִמֶּנָּה
And he engravedוַיְפַתַּחonעַלthe platesהַלֻּחֹתof its handlesיְדֹתֶיהָand onוְעַלits panelsמִסְגְּרֹתֶיהָcherubim,כְּרוּבִיםlions,אֲרָיוֹתand palm trees,וְתִמֹרֹתaccording to the spaceכְּמַעַרof each,אִישׁand wreathsוְלֹיוֹתall around.סָבִיב
Like thisכָּזֹאתhe madeעָשָׂהthe tenאֵת עֶשֶׂרbases:הַמְּכֹנוֹתoneאֶחָדcasting,מוּצָקoneאַחַתmeasure,מִדָּהoneאֶחָדformקֶצֶבfor all of them.לְכֻלָּהְנָה
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂtenעֲשָׂרָהbasinsכִיֹּרוֹתof bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתfortyאַרְבָּעִיםbathsבַּתeachהָאֶחָדbasinהַכִּיּוֹרheld;יָכִילeachהָאֶחָדbasinהַכִּיּוֹרwas fourאַרְבַּעcubits;בָּאַמָּהoneאֶחָדbasinכִּיּוֹרonעַלeachהָאַחַתbaseהַמְּכוֹנָהfor the tenלְעֶשֶׂרbases.הַמְּכֹנוֹת
And he putוַיִּתֵּןthe bases,אֶת הַמְּכֹנוֹתfiveחָמֵשׁonעַלthe sideכֶּתֶףof the houseהַבַּיִתon the right,מִיָּמִיןand fiveוְחָמֵשׁonעַלthe sideכֶּתֶףof the houseהַבַּיִתon its left;מִשְּׂמֹאלוֹand the Seaוְאֶת הַיָּםhe putנָתַןonמִthe rightהַיְמָנִיתsideכֶּתֶףof the house,הַבַּיִתtoward the east,קֵדְמָהfacingמִמּוּלsouth.נֶגֶב
And Hiramוַ חִירוֹםmadeיַּעַשׂthe basinsאֶת הַכִּיֹּרוֹתand the shovelsוְאֶת הַיָּעִיםand the bowls.וְאֶת הַמִּזְרָקוֹתAnd Hiramוַ חִירָםfinishedיְכַלdoingלַעֲשׂוֹתallאֶת כָּלthe workהַמְּלָאכָהthatאֲשֶׁרhe didעָשָׂהfor KingלַמֶּלֶךְSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהin the houseבֵּיתof YHWH:יְהוָה
twoשְׁנַיִםpillars,עַמֻּדִיםand the globesוְגֻלֹּתof the capitalsהַכֹּתָרֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pillars,הָעַמֻּדִיםtwo;שְׁתָּיִםand the twoוְ שְׁתַּיִםnetsהַשְּׂבָכוֹתto coverלְכַסּוֹתthe twoאֶת שְׁתֵּיglobesגֻּלֹּתof the capitalsהַכֹּתָרֹתthat wereאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the pillars;הָעַמּוּדִים

and the pots,וְאֶת הַסִּירוֹתand the shovels,וְאֶת הַיָּעִיםand the bowls.וְאֶת הַמִּזְרָקוֹתAnd allוְאֵת כָּלtheseהָאֵלֶּהutensilsהַכֵּלִיםthatאֲשֶׁרHiramחִירָםmadeעָשָׂהfor KingלַמֶּלֶךְSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהin the houseבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהwere of burnishedמְמֹרָטbronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
In the plainבְּכִכַּרof the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןthe kingהַמֶּלֶךְcast them,יְצָקָםin the thickבְּמַעֲבֵהground,הָאֲדָמָהbetweenבֵּיןSuccothסֻכּוֹתandוּבֵיןZarethan.צָרְתָן
And Solomonוַ שְׁלֹמֹהleftיַּנַּחallאֶת כָּלthe utensilsהַכֵּלִיםunweighed,because ofמֵthe exceedingly greatמְאֹד מְאֹדabundance;רֹבthe weightמִשְׁקַלof the bronzeהַנְּחֹשֶׁתwas notלֹאinvestigated.נֶחְקַר
And Solomonוַ שְׁלֹמֹהmadeיַּעַשׂallאֵת כָּלthe utensilsהַכֵּלִיםthat were inאֲשֶׁרthe houseבֵּיתof YHWH:יְהוָהthe altarאֵת מִזְבַּחof gold;הַזָּהָבand the tableוְאֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָןon whichאֲשֶׁר עָלָיוwas the breadלֶחֶםof the presence,הַפָּנִיםof gold;זָהָב
and the lampstands,וְאֶת הַמְּנֹרוֹתfiveחָמֵשׁon the rightמִיָּמִיןand fiveוְחָמֵשׁon the left,מִשְּׂמֹאולbeforeלִפְנֵיthe inner sanctuary,הַדְּבִירof fineסָגוּרgold;זָהָבand the flowers,וְהַפֶּרַחand the lamps,וְהַנֵּרֹתand the snuffers,וְהַמֶּלְקַחַיִםof gold;זָהָב
and the cups,וְהַסִּפּוֹתand the tongs,וְהַמְזַמְּרוֹתand the bowls,וְהַמִּזְרָקוֹתand the spoons,וְהַכַּפּוֹתand the firepans,וְהַמַּחְתּוֹתof fineסָגוּרgold;זָהָבand the socketsוְהַפֹּתוֹתfor the doorsלְדַלְתוֹתof the innerהַפְּנִימִיhouse,הַבַּיִתthe Most Holy Place,לְקֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁיםand for the doorsלְדַלְתֵיof the house,הַבַּיִתthe temple,לַהֵיכָלof gold.זָהָב
And allוַ כָּלthe workהַמְּלָאכָהthatאֲשֶׁרKingהַמֶּלֶךְSolomonשְׁלֹמֹהdidעָשָׂהin the houseבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהwas completed.תִּשְׁלַםAnd Solomonוַ שְׁלֹמֹהbrought inיָּבֵאthe holy thingsאֶת קָדְשֵׁיof Davidדָּוִדhis father:אָבִיוthe silverאֶת הַכֶּסֶףand the goldוְאֶת הַזָּהָבand the utensilsוְאֶת הַכֵּלִיםhe putנָתַןin the treasuriesבְּאֹצְרוֹתof the houseבֵּיתof YHWH.יְהוָה
