You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָthe altarאֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַof acaciaשִׁטִּיםwood:עֲצֵיfiveחָמֵשׁcubitsאַמּוֹתlongאֹרֶךְand fiveוְחָמֵשׁcubitsאַמּוֹתwide;רֹחַבthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַshall beיִהְיֶהsquare,רָבוּעַand threeוְשָׁלֹשׁcubitsאַמּוֹתits height.קֹמָתוֹ
You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָits hornsקַרְנֹתָיוonעַלits fourאַרְבַּעcorners;פִּנֹּתָיוits hornsקַרְנֹתָיוshall beתִּהְיֶיןָof one piece with it,מִמֶּנּוּand you shall overlayוְצִפִּיתָitאֹתוֹwith bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָits potsסִּירֹתָיוfor removing its ashes,לְדַשְּׁנוֹand its shovels,וְיָעָיוits bowls,וּמִזְרְקֹתָיוits forks,וּמִזְלְגֹתָיוand its firepans;וּמַחְתֹּתָיוallלְכָלits utensilsכֵּלָיוyou shall makeתַּעֲשֶׂהof bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָfor itלּוֹa grating,מִכְבָּרa networkמַעֲשֵׂה רֶשֶׁתof bronze,נְחֹשֶׁתand you shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָonעַלthe networkהָרֶשֶׁתfourאַרְבַּעringsטַבְּעֹתof bronzeנְחֹשֶׁתatעַלits fourאַרְבַּעcorners.קְצוֹתָיו
You shall putוְנָתַתָּהitאֹתָהּunderתַּחַתthe ledgeכַּרְכֹּבof the altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחַbelow,מִלְּמָטָּהso that the networkוְ הָרֶשֶׁתreachesהָיְתָהhalfwayעַד חֲצִיup the altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָpolesבַדִּיםfor the altar,לַמִּזְבֵּחַpolesבַּדֵּיof acaciaשִׁטִּיםwood,עֲצֵיand overlayוְצִפִּיתָthemאֹתָםwith bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
Its polesאֶת בַּדָּיוshall be putוְהוּבָאinto the rings,בַּטַּבָּעֹתand the polesוְ הַבַּדִּיםshall beהָיוּonעַלthe twoשְׁתֵּיsidesצַלְעֹתof the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַwhen it is carried.בִּשְׂאֵת אֹתוֹ
Hollow,נְבוּבwith planks,לֻחֹתyou shall makeתַּעֲשֶׂהit;אֹתוֹasכַּאֲשֶׁרit was shownהֶרְאָהyouאֹתְךָon the mountain,בָּהָרsoכֵּןthey shall make it.יַעֲשׂוּ
You shall makeוְעָשִׂיתָthe courtyardאֵת חֲצַרof the dwelling.הַמִּשְׁכָּןFor the southernנֶגֶבside,לִפְאַתtoward the south,תֵּימָנָהthe courtyardלֶחָצֵרshall have hangingsקְלָעִיםof fine twisted linen,שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָרa hundredמֵאָהcubitsבָאַמָּהlongאֹרֶךְfor the oneלַ הָאֶחָתside,פֵּאָה
and its pillarsוְעַמֻּדָיוtwenty,עֶשְׂרִיםand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםtwenty,עֶשְׂרִיםof bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתthe hooksוָוֵיof the pillarsהָעַמֻּדִיםand their rodsוַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶםshall be of silver.כָּסֶף
And likewiseוְכֵןfor the northצָפוֹןside,לִפְאַתin length,בָּאֹרֶךְhangingsקְלָעִיםa hundred cubitsמֵאָהlong,אֹרֶךְand its pillarsוְעַמּוּדָיוtwenty,עֶשְׂרִיםand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםtwenty,עֶשְׂרִיםof bronze;נְחֹשֶׁתthe hooksוָוֵיof the pillarsהָעַמֻּדִיםand their rodsוַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶםshall be of silver.כָּסֶף
For the widthוְרֹחַבof the courtyardהֶחָצֵרon the westיָםsideלִפְאַתthere shall be hangingsקְלָעִיםof fiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםcubits,אַמָּהtheir pillarsעַמֻּדֵיהֶםtenעֲשָׂרָהand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםten.עֲשָׂרָה
The widthוְרֹחַבof the courtyardהֶחָצֵרon the eastקֵדְמָהside,לִפְאַתtoward the sunrise,מִזְרָחָהshall be fiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםcubits.אַמָּה
Fifteenוַחֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵהcubitsאַמָּהof hangingsקְלָעִיםfor the one side,לַכָּתֵףtheir pillarsעַמֻּדֵיהֶםthreeשְׁלֹשָׁהand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםthree;שְׁלֹשָׁה
and for the otherוְלַ הַשֵּׁנִיתsideכָּתֵףfifteenחְמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵהcubits of hangings,קְלָעִיםtheir pillarsעַמֻּדֵיהֶםthreeשְׁלֹשָׁהand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםthree.שְׁלֹשָׁה
For the gateוּלְשַׁעַרof the courtyardהֶחָצֵרthere shall be a screenמָסָךְof twentyעֶשְׂרִיםcubits,אַמָּהof blue,תְּכֵלֶתpurple,וְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet yarnוְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand fine twisted linen,וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָרthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof an embroiderer,רֹקֵםtheir pillarsעַמֻּדֵיהֶםfourאַרְבָּעָהand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםfour.אַרְבָּעָה
Allכָּלthe pillarsעַמּוּדֵיof the courtyardהֶחָצֵרall aroundסָבִיבshall be joined with rodsמְחֻשָּׁקִיםof silver;כֶּסֶףtheir hooksוָוֵיהֶםof silverכָּסֶףand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםof bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
The lengthאֹרֶךְof the courtyardהֶחָצֵרshall be a hundredמֵאָהcubits,בָאַמָּהthe widthוְרֹחַבfiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםall along,בַּחֲמִשִּׁיםand the heightוְקֹמָהfiveחָמֵשׁcubits,אַמּוֹתof fine twisted linen,שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָרand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםof bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
Allלְכֹלthe utensilsכְּלֵיof the dwellingהַמִּשְׁכָּןfor allבְּכֹלits service,עֲבֹדָתוֹand allוְכָלits pegsיְתֵדֹתָיוand allוְכָלthe pegsיִתְדֹתof the courtyard,הֶחָצֵרshall be of bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
And youוְאַתָּהshall commandתְּצַוֶּהthe sonsאֶת בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלthat they bringוְיִקְחוּyouאֵלֶיךָpureזָךְoliveזַיִתoil,שֶׁמֶןbeaten,כָּתִיתfor the light,לַמָּאוֹרto make burnלְהַעֲלֹתa lampנֵרcontinually.תָּמִיד
In the tentבְּאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדoutsideמִחוּץthe veilלַפָּרֹכֶתthatאֲשֶׁרis beforeעַלthe testimony,הָעֵדֻתAaronאַהֲרֹןand his sonsוּבָנָיוshall set it in orderיַעֲרֹךְ אֹתוֹfrom eveningמֵעֶרֶבtoעַדmorningבֹּקֶרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָהIt is a statuteחֻקַּתforeverעוֹלָםthroughout their generationsלְדֹרֹתָםon the part ofמֵאֵתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
